black booms

anyone else come across black mushrooms? SWIM came across some the other day and these are a first. very thin stems as well, black caps hoping they arent poisonous.

anyways, NEVER, EVER eat unidentified mushrooms!
unless you get a positive spore print along with many positive identifications from professional mycologists, dont eat them!

i know the ones you mean, and as far as i know they are toxic.

they often grow in cow shit, yes?

I have a mycologist friend who I'd refer to on issues like this. If you don't know someone who REALLY knows about mushrooms who you can go to for identification, don't eat them.

Were these sold to you or did you find them growing in the wild?
