So I have these little acid tabs (we took 2 each). I know LSD is supposed to be tasteless, but when we put them in our mouths there was a bitter taste. It was almost like we were tasting the ink on the paper (red with Tiggers). I was also told before ingesting that they weren't that good.

The trip was strange –– only slight visuals, and I felt lucid mindstate-wise. The set and setting were really not optimal: there were more people there than I thought, one I felt very uncomfortable around because he took quite a bit of my money, ostensibly for shrooms, and went and spent it on weed and hasn't paid us back yet. There was also someone there who I didn't know. I'm notoriously awkward in social situations and so I spent the whole 5-6 hours sitting on a couch tripping out on the swirly carpet.

I'm hoping the remaining 2 hits (will be with my boyfriend at his house, safe) will be better but I'm a little freaked by the taste. Any thoughts?

Well, no one can telll you what's in your blotter, but just because you didn't have a great time doesn't mean it wasn't LSD. Low dose LSD blotters aren't very visual, and to me LSD is also quite lucid mostly, again especially at lower doses.

In what way was it bitter? I've had lots of LSD blotters that were legit that had a slight bitter taste, probably coming from the paper or the from the ink as you mention.

It's only if the bitter taste is really extreme it's a spitter. If you can really taste the chemical.

It sounds like 25x-NBOMe.
Most likely 25i-NBOMe or 25c-NBOMe.

Anyways, we can't ever make a definite answer.
There's really not much use to this thread.
But the chances of it being LSD are quite low from what you've said.

If it's very bitter it's almost certainly not LSD. If it has a slight bitter taste to it, it could be the ink or an incredibly high dose - but there's still a good chance it's some sort of RC. If there's some numbing to the area it touches it could be one of the NBOMe series, otherwise, if it doesn't resemble LSD that leaves one of the DOx series, Bromo-DragonFLY, or 5-MeO-AMT as the main suspects.

The thing is drugs are extremely subjective, one person's description of DOC will match another's description of LSD and that'll match another person's description of 25C-NBOMe. For that reason, we don't allow ID threads here, as all it'll be is a bunch of wild guesses. The only way you can find out what it is would be to test it.

Try and grab an Ehrlich's reagent kit. It will turn a purple/pink colour when indoles are present. This narrows down your blotter to a tryptamine - and since 5-MeO-AMT is the most common tryptamine blotter adulterant and is both fairly rare on blotter and tends to cause intense nausea in people, you can then narrow it down to likely being LSD. If it turns anything other than purple/pink, it isn't LSD.

Since ID threads aren't allowed, and your question has been answered (A bitter tab can be LSD, but a bitter tab, especially a very bitter one, usually suggests it isn't LSD) - this thread has run its course.
