This med is normally prescribed for balance disorders. It is an H3 antagonist which means it promotes the release of histamine in the brain. My question is can you use it to alleviate day time drowsiness instead of using coffee or dopamine stims?

This medication has some unpleasant side effects, one would be insomnia. If you're having trouble staying awake, maybe your doctor could prescribe something like modafinil (Provigil) or something meant for your symptoms.

According to Wikipedia, it has a short half-life of 3 to 4 hours, so if I take it early in the morning it should be mostly cleared by night time.
