Hello All,

First I feel like I should give some brief background information about myself and my work. I am a neuro/psycho pharmacologist and the lead director of Oracle Laboratories and Oracle Pharmaceuticals, as well as the founder of NeuroPsych Laboratories. Many people find it strange to find me on sites like these, but it has honestly never hindered my career any, and most people as more than well familiar with my disdain for the drug legislation in the US, and, for ANY regulatory drug policy worldwide, for that matter.

Anyway, I have personally tried and synthesized hundreds of different psychotropic compound, many of them related to the pyrovalerones and the substituted cathinones, and have published several papers on the pharmacological profiles of these compounds (maybe some of which I will share in the researcher sharing section of this site if I get around to it).

But, now to the point at hand. One of my colleagues got really into using the nack of MDPV in his daily life, while cramming for publication deadlines, and just as a daily all-around useful stimulant. To my knowledge, he has never overdone it, nor had any issues with compulsive re-sdosing or a significant crash. (Useless he was up for days trying desperately to meet a deadline). (And, for anyone out there with hard time believing this, I personally tested numerous samples of him via Liquid Chromatography, Mass-Spectroscopy, UV/Infrared Spectroscopy, and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy, both at work and at my well-stocked and well-equipped home lab.

Now, since the placement of MDPV under emergency controls in Schedule I, my buddy has been in a bit of a pickle. Normally, I would refer him to related compounds like a-PVP or Pentedrone, but those two were emergency schedule with MDPV.

Now, I understand the pharmacology of these compounds probably better than anyone, and I know how each of them “should” make one feel. However, as anybody who has ANY background in psychopharmacology knows that, how a drug “should” make one feel, based on the molecular similarities to it’s structural relatives VERY often does not pan out. And, although I have tried many of these compounds, there are many making the Research Chemical market round that I yet have not.

I am looking for something in comparable effect - Norepinephrine / Dopamine Re-Uptake Enhancer / Releasing agent that produces moderate stimulatory action with a degree of euphoria. I would also like to find some along the lines of the same dosage level. (My colleague would use 10mg - 30mg in one dose, and then adjust with additional dosages as the day wore on. The similar dosage range is not essential, but it would be a great hope.

Compounds that I have personally tried, and even some that I have published on include Pentedrone and alpha-PVP, both of which would be my first two choices in the absence in availability of MDPV, however, of choice, they are now scheduled as well. I use Prolintane on occasion, but at least to me subjective opinion, it is weak and lacks the production of any real euphoria. Has anybody has any different affects to Prolintante, so that maybe I can pass along the information to my colleague.

Does anyone have any experience with a-PHP ? I have read some reports that seem to indicate that it may be more of a euphorant that a stimulant, which may not be entirely bad. Does anybody have any inkling as to the legal status of it in the US?

I am also quite interested in a-PPP as a possible MDPV / a-PVP replacement. Can anybody confirm any subjective effects for me, and provide any information regarding it’s current legal status. I would not be surprised if it were pursued by the Federal Analogue Act, but is there any legislation mentioning a-PPP by name?

Also, any other substituted cathinone, phenethylamines, or any other new research chemical available that anyone knows of that can match the general effects and dosage guidelines of MDPV would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

- Dr. J.

If your pharmacological cock is so large why would you need to ask people who are MUCH less qualified to answer than yourself these questions? If your as well versed as the first half of your post implies (in such an arrogant fashion might I add) you would probably have some colleagues IRL more than capable of answering you. There's already multiple threads on the subject of replacing recently scheduled stims. A good thread to start in is probably the one a couple threads below this titled "Best RC study aid". This site also has a search function and I'm sure typing "mdpv replacement" would yield plenty of results. Also ADD is generally better for more academic discussion this board is more about minimizing harm and getting high as safely as possible.

Edit. Also any chemical not intended for human consumption used as a recreational drug is pretty much covered by the analog act in pretty much those terms exactly. So even if a- php was not scheduled, your intended use is unlawful. Anybody feel free to correct this but it's true to my knowledge.

^exactly. I don't think these types of threads are allowed anyways. Its the whole "replacement" thing that's fucking over the RC scene and product availability in my opinion. So many new dirty synths and potentially dangerous compounds. a-PHP is shit in my opinion, but compared to anything else easily available, then yes its closest to MDPV. Is it like MDPV much at all realistically? Not really, at least not in any positive fashion.

Dear government, bring back mephedrone, I would be happy.

We're not here to recommend you drugs to do. If you're such a pharmacy genius like you claim, this is something that you could answer in about an hour using Google and a copy of Chemdraw. You can also figure out whether or not compounds are legal: look up the equivalent of your country's version of the Controlled Substances Act.
