Benzos up the nose - FINAL VERDICT?

Ok, now I have heard both sides of the battle and I don't have a clue on what to think. Do benzos hit you harder when you snort them or do they have NO EFFECT because all benzos aren't water soluable??? I have tried snorting rohypnol and they DO seem to have an affect on my after a minute or two, but what are do you guys think? Trip, anyone?
 
Benzos are NOT soluable in water. This means snorting them has NO ADDED EFFECT, NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS! PERIOD END OF STORY. If people say it hits them harder it is because of one of two reasons:
1) Placebo, they think since they snort it they are feeling it quicker than maybe they really are.
2) They crushed it up.
The proper way to take a benzo would be to crush it up to aide disolving them in your stomach. And drink it with a glass of water. When you snort it, its just an added step to get in your stomach.
Again I say, there are no ifs ands or buts to this.
 
I agree, just crush em up and eat em. I always just chew on them, I've found that Klonipin taste kinda sweet, however Xanax tastes really bitter and bad.

you feeling it in a couple of minutes is just a placebo effect. you know what to expect, so you feel high before you really are. like they already said, just crush 'em up and swallow them.
 
Rohypnol is sweet like a drop of honey.
Yep, just chew and enjoy, or even just swallow.
Swallowing 30mg of valium has me floaty in about 2-5 minutes.... i had no idea benzos acted that fast...

Yes, taking a pill under your tongue does work faster. The reason for this is because of large capalaries close to the skin. The chemical seeps through the tissue and into the capalaries and into your blood stream.
 
hrm...dissolving under tongue, thats how i used to eat mdma (icky taste! good GOD!).... wonder why i havent tried that with other pills yet....

Yup, sublingual is the way to go... still, I often snort various benzos - placebo or not, it seems to hit faster...

i must agree, whenever i have snorted VALIUM, i felt it stronger and faster!!a placebo effect??maybe, i dunno, but when i drank up 15 mgs(same amount i snorted) i felt a buzz, but not near as pronounced as when i snorted it..
who knows...
VALIUM, if ya drink it, gives you a NASTY, BITTER after taste...im not talking about DIAZEPAM, but the good kind from ROMANIA..

I think it just depends on the mindset. If you are expecting a big rush, then the placebo effect is going to happen. You will probably think that you are feeling it before you do.
Railing any benzo really doesn't seem to help any at all. You might as well just chew the pill and swallow. It will probably hit you faster. Besides, if it is Klonopin, it tastes good anyway.
 
I'm not here to say that snorting provides no added effects or if it does. I just know that when I chew up a bar, it hits me in about 30-40 minutes, whereas if I rail it, it only takes about 10 minutes for me to feel it. I usually just rail one, then chew another one about an hour or so later to continue the high.
 
Are you ‘pro-railers’ delusional or something? The solubility of these drugs is not being made up by someone. It is a fucking fact... if you like to rail it because it is fun then knock your self out, nothing wrong with that ( except risk of nasal and lung damage) but don't try to tell me crush and chug, or sublingual is slower..... 2-5 min where did you come up with that one......? Got out your stop watch? Get real here……..

Do a little tiny bit of research...educate your self about the action and pharmacokinetics of these drugs....provide some links to back up you claims or cut the crap. You are disseminating a myth dressed up as a fact based on your personal experience, which is subjective..... BARF!

Of course you back up your opinion with your own personal experience! If I took some benzo up the nose and I felt something I'm going to think that it hit me harder than taking it oral! Just common sense. Maybe it might be just psychological, but who cares you still feel it. Benzos might not be water soluble, but they sure to hit you FASTER than eating em.
 
Final Verdict:
Drugs affect everyone differently. There are entirley too many variables to come to a definite conclusion (Placebo effect, doseages, personal absorption rates and metabolism etc etc)...
So the debate is in essence a matter of personal preferance, taste and perception...
Personally, I find that benzo's hit me fastest if I lick them slowly out of a chimpanzee's asshole after a rough night of hardcore anal sex with said chimpanzee (.003 seconds tops), oh, but ONLY on a full moon....

I'm sure I have seen injectable vials of diazapam, dose this not suggest it's warter soluble to some extent hence not just forming a buble in you vein and killing you?? Or is this specialy treated in someway to make it injectable and not the same as the diazapam in the pills?

If you want to say it hits YOU faster fine, ..... objective scientific studies, Vs. subjective personal experience.....the road is yours to choose, and every one is different. If your into placebo, and like to risk fucking up your nose and lungs so you can try to get high 10 min faster... go right ahead . You might be a mutant in the .000001% of the population that has a genetic defect that allows the drug to be absorbed better that route.
