Do they interfere with each other?
Can the energy drink increase the chances of side effects of the benzos?

This used to be my staple medication diet for work actually. I'd take about 30mg diaz in the morning alonside a can of Relentless(equiv to 2 cans of red bull) and about 20mg at lunchtime with another can, and then a cup of coffee on my last tea break with 10mg diaz.

It is kind of like a poor mans speedball, they will cancel each other out in a lot of ways, but mixing the two together in my case definitely decreased my anxiety tons and increased my productivity and energy levels tons too so they worked really well together, but they drove my tolerance up really fast so I wouldn't really recommend it from a HR point of view.

Caffeine is known to increase anxiety, which is why more of the benzo it normally needed if taking caffeine or any other stim with it.

You should probably talk to your doctor about mixing the two for some more advice or you could end up running out of your script too fast because the energy drinks have made you take too many benzos whilst on them.

One problem I found with this combination is since both relax the lower esophageal sphincter, it can result in wicked acid reflux. I was prone to a bit already and when I was drinking a lot of energy drinks with xanax one day, it felt damn near like I was having a heart attack.

Another problem is that the caffeine will make you feel more awake so you feel ok taking more benzos producing further disinhibition and amnesia leading you to do really stupid and potentially dangerous shit that you won't remember.

what's HR?

yeah 'cause i noticed somehow that when i had taken diaz and clonazepam the night before and the next day i drank an energy drink and i'd get that warm buzz, might have been in my head idk

HR is harm reduction; the main goal and principal of this website.

I'm sure I must just have some kind of long term tolerance to caffeine, I've been heavy user on and off for all my life at time drinking up to 15-20 cups of really strong black coffee everyday. I never get jittery or even really feel much more than mild stimulation. I do limit the amount I drink these days and never drink in the later afternoon.

But I'll drink a back coffee with 2-3 heaped tea spoons of instant and have 2 or 3 of those in the morning and another 2-3 in the day and really get very little, from them. Occasionally I will drink energy drinks especially if I'm on the road and thirsty and 2 cans of relentless also has a very mild effect.

I was doing this way before I has serious anxiety of depression, I think its my tiger blood;) At the moment I'm on a benzo taper but never get any craving for benzos after drinking coffee and never combine the 2, although I appreciate that with the long half life of Diaz I'm pretty much a wash with the stuff 24/7. But given I take my diaz in the evening, it's a pretty poor excuse for s speedball =D

I guess like most things YMMV, anyone else get little effect from high doses of caffeine ??

I wouldn't do this personally because I think it would ruin the benzo effects, and also theres the risk of taking so many benzos you should pass out but can't because of the energy drink.

Many a time I should've passed out but some stim kept me up, and I ended up in a worse position.
