So i take benzos all day every day. I like to drink to. I never used to mix them but am i going to start.

if im stable at 10 mgs of valium a day. how many beers would it take to get a nice buzz. I dont wanna get overwhelmed or over do it.

so maybe like 10 mgs of valium plus 2-4 beers sound ok without ending up dead? Anyone with expierence with this mix and what they take of each substance (any benzos/any type of booze) would be greatly appreicated.

lol i am already ill and not much else bad can really happen to me, thanks for you concern though. im mentally ill and have a few other issues with my knees etc. im not trying to commit suicide. if i was id put a glock in my mouth lol .im just tired of watching my boys drink 8 beers on 4 mgs clonazepam and be fine. im not worried about seizures. i have next to a unlimated supply of benzos.

im only planning on drinking once in a while like maybe 2-3 times a month and only a few beers at the bar with friends.

Any one else got info?
 
If are taking Valium as prescribed and want to have a FEW drinks every now and then, it probably wont hurt you but you really have to watch how much you drink. If you are going to drink have ONE and wait a while to see how it effects you. Benzos and alcohol can greatly potentiate each other. Having just one too many drinks can end in blackouts, and making some real bad decisions while blacked out.

If you're talking about intentionally mixing the two to get fucked up, I would advise against it. It will most likely end badly. At the very least you'll probably make a complete ass of yourself.
 
If you have not started partaking of this combination yet PLEASE don't. I was a lifelong drinker who started taking benzos with my alcohol a few years ago. My cross-tolerance spiraled out of control fast, and within 10 months I was in a lockdown detox ward. This is one of THE WORST and DANGEROUS withdrawals that there is.

You may think you can handle this better than I did, and perhaps you can, but if I could do it over I would never have opened the door to that particular hell.

Please put your safety first!

If you want to go out drinking why not just skip your Valium that day? If you're only at 10 mg a day you can miss a few doses. You still have to watch how much you drink because of the diazepam built up in your system.

BTW this topic has been beat to death. Do some searching.

Nah im not trying to fuck myself up. and yeah one time about 10 years ago i took 10 mgs lorazepam a 40 oz bottle of vodka. long story short it was black out central.

I actually had 7.5 mgs of valium around 6 am (yesturday b4 work) and 2 beers (at 6pm after work) and was completely fine. i was just wondering if i could take a tiny bit more and what other people expierences were. i know not to max it to hard tho. thanks for the info.

Im at work or i would have. if its been beat to death so much why bother responding to it? if its such an inconvience get the fuck out of my thread :)

edit- i asked a simple question and only needed a simple answer if anyone had the time to write a post. mods feel free to close this as its going nowhere and quick

When I was younger I used to black out on alcohol and benzos constantly only to find out the next day that I had drove somewhere, or did a 100 worth of crack, or some other stupid shit that I had no memory of. I rarely woke up to find something good had happened. Long story short after years of this combination my tolerance is very high to alcohol. I have learned how to do this combo safely and not black out or get arrested (only possible because I have been doing this daily for years). I built a system of rules I try to follow.

First since I am a functioning alcoholic and am unwilling to abstain from alcohol I had to lower my daily benzo dose significantly. I went from 4 mg of xanax a day to .75 mg of klonopin a day. Second I stick to taking just .5 if I'm going to get really drunk. Third I can't drink to quickly. I can get drunk as shit and not black out as long as I pace myself a bit. I also make sure I don't drink on an empty stomach. And finally I don't go out in public as I'm still going to be intoxicated enough to get arrested. All of this takes a lot of self control and a significant tolerance. Since this combo lowers your inhibitions quite a bit when you first start I dont' think you will have the discipline to stick to a system like I do without slipping up many many times in the process. Thus I suggest you not to do this. I'm lucky I never died\got arrested doing this shit.

Im not worried about getting booked, im from toronto and the laws are really different here. you guys get caught with a oz of coke your going away for 10 years. Us canadians get booked and its a first or second offence we may get 90 days lol.

and yeah when i took the 10 mgs of lorazepam and 40oz of vodka i drove to downtown toronto a population of 3,000,000 ppl from my town 30 min in the outskirts. fucked a street walker, crashed my car some how got it out of a ditch. This was all while on probation btw. i was 17 and know not to do that shit anymore. thats why im only staying at 10 mgs of valium

What I'm trying to warn you is that this combo is a very slippery slope. Get some valium and a few beers in you and you may say man I feel great. I should take a shot or maybe just 2.5 more valium. This would sound stupid to a sober person but benzos and alcohol are very likely to make someone throw caution to the wind. Anyway once you cross a certain line (and you won't know where this line is till you have crossed it many times), you will be in black out territory and some pretty weird shit can happen. I forgot to mention in my post that I don't enjoy my daily alcohol benzo combo at all. If you do this combo enough to were you can finally handle it then it won't be euphoric or enjoyable it will just be a habit like smoking cigs or anything else. But I can't be your mom and tell you what to do your just going to have to learn the hard way.

thanks man this is the type of info i was looking for. ill space the 2 shots a hour to be safe and never take more then 10 mgs of valium in total to be extra safe.

Do you have anxiety, or just like the feeling of CNS depressants? Not a smartass question, just asking. Reason I ask....I am battling severe anxiety and if I could kill the anxiety......wouldnt want or need either.....except booze for the occasional party situation.
 
Regardless of any suggestions here how to combine these without blacking out or so: Never mix Benzos and Booze. Period!
One of the most reckless and stupid combinations there is (except opiates+benzos+alcohol or GHB).

There will be the moment when you feel pretty fine, take another drink or pop a pill and uncontrolled desasters are predestinated.
Just don't do it. You will regret it one time, I assure you this.
 
I cannot caution strongly enough against this combo. I did it twice, and blacked out both times. I didn't feel a thing coming on either time, it completely came out of nowhere. The first time I had taken a xan bar 3 hours prior to taking two shots of jagermeister. Next thing I knew I was waking up on my buddy's couch. He showed me video on his phone of them tossing me around the room, trying to wake me up. I was lifeless. This combo on a large scale can cause a central nervous system shutdown...

The second time it happened to me I was on a daily 20-30 mg valium regimen. I went to a bar with some friends after work, had about 5 beers. Woke up in jail the next morning with a DUI charge. Guess I ran my car off the road...so glad nobody was hurt. My life since then has been in shambles. And for what??

The thing you need to remember is there is little to no euphoria gained from this combo...it just seems to do nothing until you take that drink that puts you over the top then...bam. You're gone.
