Benzodiazepines and ambien

So I've run out of my benzos a few days early. Right now I'm on 1mg Ativan twice a day. I'm trying to taper with the help of a dr. I was on 2mg twice a day last month. I had a pretty bad habit before that with Xanax. I'm trying my best to stay on track but I've run out early.
My question is, is Ambien enough to help keep withdrawals away for a few days (including seizures)?

i wouldnt take a chance messing with a taper if you are out you can actually go to an ER and explain you need extra ativan to hold you over until you get your refill and def mention the taper
or hell talk to the doc and state the situation maybe you began the taper at a weird moment which the doc shouldve have actually talked to you about because with a taper its crucial to stay on the regimen you are given saying the doc shouldve made sure you had enough to hold you over or made sure you had everything you needed

You won't have a good time with using only ambien as your "benzo" replacement. (I say "benzo" bc as I'm sure you know, it's cross tolerant and similar, but technically not a benzo). Also, there's no info about how cross-tolerant ambien is with benzos. So, who knows, maybe 10 mg zolpidem = 1 mg ativan, or shit it could equal 3 mg ativan. Since it's a crap shoot, I wouldn't risk the possibility that you accidentally get your benzo tolerance up after all of this hard taper work just bc you took ambien.

nope ambien doesnt stop or prevent seizures if you had another benzo in your arsenal like diazepam or klonopin you would be golden
again seek some type of help never take any chances during a taper or if you are exp WD
