Benzos Benzo troubles

If you've seen my posts you will know that I get absolutely no affect off benzos. I am on 10mg of lorazepam right now with no effect at all. I recently came off taking 6mg of xanax a day and only had a 1 day sweaty with draw. So blue light should I just stop the lorazepam cold turkey? Or should I wean myself off which will most likely get me buying xanax bars again and getting trapped in benzo world?

I had a daily habit for two years and the withdrawal was - honestly - at best. the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced in my life; two weeks of insomnia, psychosis, sweating, vomiting, pissing myself and suicide attempts, oh, and at worst fitting that nearly killed me on three separate occasions.

Even if they did have an effect on you, I would advise against abusing. Stay well away, for your own sake. But you shouldn't taper down without consulting your doctor, as abrupt dis-continuation is so ridiculously perilous.

Stay safe, stay out/get out of benzo-world.

I'm gonna cold turkey, did it with xanax and I had one shitty day at max. Tapering would just pretty much make me go cop bars and get back into the cycle

Wait so you were dependent on 6mg of alprazolam and then you started taking 10mg lorazepam ?

If so then you only experienced one sweaty day because you just switched to a benzo that isn't as strong.

How long were you on the zanax for?

Only like 2 weeks, then lorazepam for 10 days
But I worked my way up with the lorazepam tolerance maxing out at 10mg

With benzos it's more length of time on them that screws you and creates the sever (possibly) life threatening w/d at only ten days id say a ridiculously short taper maybe like 8mg , 6mg, 4mg, 2mg done type thing. So like 4 days. The longer you use the more dependant you become.


I've just finished a 2 year long soul destroying taper which was nessary because id been taking benzos 11 years pretty much straight up to 180mgs a day. 5 coldturkeys and tapers In that time but I always went back after like max a couple months.

My advice would be do the 4 day rapid taper be done with it and leave benzos behind especially if you get nothing out if doses like 10mg of lorazepam.
You don't wanna end up like guys like me. I'm surprised I lived through this last taper. Never again
