Two issues.
1. Concerning the solution stability of the RC benzos in PG and EtOH (EtOH&H2o). I worked with diazepam a long time ago, about 17 years ago, as analytical chemist. I recall well that our 1.0 mg/mL solutions - a typical HPLC concentration, was NOT stable for more than a few hours. I can't recall it's major degradation products but I believe it had less potency( the major deg product, I think there were 2 or 3 total but only one of significance) I recall a loss of 10% within a 72 hours (probably more like 24 hours) that's fast.
Obviously solution (no pun intended) is to make solutions you'll use faster. I suggest EtOH (Everclear - or whatever you buy at a retail liquor store NOT the local chem supply store - that stuff is denatured) and make smaller qty., but scale accuracy goes to hell around 20 - 10 mg, ime. A really good mg scale and you needn't make solutions.
I know it's been asked before, does anyone have any solid data on solution stability of the RCs (Etiz, the Flus, Clonzy, etc...)?
I mean real data, not "I made my solution 20 days ago and it still fucks me up at the same dose - unless it was in PG (otherwise EtOH evap., would be a possibility)
2. A ? for those already prescribed benzos who are trying out RC benzos. Do you take your prescribed meds (like for me 3-mg/K-pin/day) or do you skip it? I usually skip it and put it aside for eventual w/ds but I find I get more fucked if I take my K-pins. Other experiences.
Thanks, and please for the sake of others do not drive on benzos unless prescribed, at the prescribed amount and are tolerant, so you know you're ok.
I have a $1,000 deductible I'll be paying soon b/c I missed a red light. Hmmm... wonder why I missed that light? Nobody hurt, we got lucky. No cops, the other driver had warrants or something 'cause she just wanted to get the fuck out of there (a very nice Volvo SUV). I know... I warned against this before, and then boom it happened to me. Don't be like me, I'm a horrible person who should not be loose in society. Kind of serious about that, but it's no more true than for most other people.
Thanks
