Benzos benzo question about xanax

hey guys first post here just wondering my buddy got some xanax bars thinking of getting some but ive been on clonazepam 2mg a day for 3 months. Is it worth it to get it like will I get high or barely get high just feel like im on the clonazepam like usual. Thanks comrades. #WE TRIP{PY
 
i find benzos (including alprazolam) have absolutely zero high/buzz. no noticeable effects, so suck recreationally imo.

if you've been on that clonazepam dose for some months you got a tolerance. alprazolam is the same potency as clonazepam so start from there.
 
Yea itll be the same thing basically mabye make you a little sleepy at first but that's it
 
If you're on clonazepam for anxiety it's not a smart idea to abuse other benzos 'cause they will just make your klonopin stop working properly.
 
Clonazepam is more of a slow-burner, and personally I prefer it to alprazolam. Most people who take benzodiazepines recreationally prefer Xanax, though...hits hard but leaves fast. Just one milligram of Klonopin brings a good deal of sunshine to my day, though.
 
Yeah ... Xanax is short acting (great if your using it for its actual medical purpose)
and klonopin is longer acting, very similar in action, but through personal experience i feel klonopin has a worse come-down (this could be due to it's longer duration and the 'hangover' is just drags out, but i haven't noticed any with xanax.

I have actually felt 'unknown' to myself on 'k-pins', something i have never experienced with xanax. Like a dulled out zombie feeling of absent personality. Of course this wore off after maybe 3-6 hours following dose, or 2-4 hours the following morning. I can see that being very scary and confusing to someone not experienced with these drugs..

(A scary thought, when i was in this stage, i had STRONG suicidal notions because of the psychological severity of this hangover (complete and utter mental disrepair) and i fear that someone without the knowledge that this feeling would soon pass, might make a terrible mistake..
 
2 different effects, so YES you will feel the Xanax.

I was perscribed klonopin for sleep last week (have taken before), and IMO the shit sucks. It's more of a muscle relaxer than a benzo.

Doesn't help with my nightime anxiety and makes me walk into walls and cabinet doors. I'm not even gonna take the rest cuz there's no use in getting addicted to something thats useless.

Xanax is always the only benzo that gives me a buzz. I went through super binges, taking up to 24mg every weekend at once. When I think of the word BUZZ i think of Xanax because it literally feels like a BUZZ.

Like your head is made of cottonballs.
 
i don't know about you OP, but I don't get "high" neither from clonazepam nor alprazolam.

you'll probably just jack up your tolerance chasing an high that doesn't exist. if you want to feel good take a little xanax like 0.5/1 mg and smoke some weed or something
 
When I was prescribed Xanax, it was 0.25mg pills (what I call Tic-Tacs), and they worked as needed. Just knowing I had them there was a relief from anxiety, knowing that if I nede to take one, or two, all would be fine. K-pins are basically 1/3rd the strength of Xanax but last 3x as long, however when I took Ativan, I didnt feel shit, nor anything from an "equivalent" dose of Valium. Xanax is the only benzo that works for me (havent tried them all tho), and it basically knocks me out in higher doses. 2mg Clonopin is about 0.75mg Xanax, at least according to charts, from memory. If you took a bar (2mg) of Xanax, I think you'd definitely feel it, but BE CAREFUL with it, as amnesia is not uncommon, especially if you try to stay up or mix with other drugs.
 
If you need the clonazepam, don't do stupid things like I did and abuse benzodiazepines. I have legitimate need for benzodiazepines, but because of the way I've used these amazing tools, they have very limited use for me now. Up until recently I was requiring a regimen of 6mg of sublingual Xanax throughout the day as well as 4mg (double max dose unit) of ProSom daily for them to have MINIMAL success. All my life I had been told I needed to learn to "not give a fuck," and when I finally did find something that allowed me to kinda "not give a fuck," I sprinted with it, because that in itself was euphoric in a sense. Sorry, it's late, I can't sleep (no fucking benzos anymore...), and I'm rambling. Just thought I'd toss you my 2 cents.
