Everyday I send him over an email or 2, briefly talk, and then have a 90 minute session every week.
WOW, I have learned so much about human interaction, what causes me to do things, and how I try and rationalize things, but when I'm so far off from what is really going on.
Commitment is bar one the most important aspect of life now in my opinion, and I never knew what it meant to be committed to something until maybe a few days ago.
A few notes that I wanted to share with the forum:
If you're trying to help someone, telling them what they're doing wrong isn't going to help them.
It is most beneficial for people to come to their own conclusions.
Q.How can you help?
A. By being supportive and asking questions leading them to their own discoveries.
I didn't think anyone could possibly understand me, or how I felt. I met with the therapist and he began to understand me!
If you guys are willing to make an investment in yourself, I think for me it was money well spent.
