Beginner's Heroin Questions

There's been alot of heroin talk on here of late, and I am familiar with the search procedures, however I think some of these true beginner questions haven't yet been answered:
I'm thinking of trying it, but have so far been dissapointed that I can't get any. Given a bit of time I can put my hands on just about anything: weed, acid, coke, meth, pills, K, G, even some of the rarer psychedelics. And I have many sources for each, yet so far my best opiate hookup is a guy at work who won't sell me his fuckin extra strength backpain tablets.
Fuck. I guess I don't know those sort of people. Anyway, any comments on the sort of people/places? Thanks
Secondly, how is it sold, whats your average cost and size. Is it usually sold by grams? points?(1/10g).
How much would you need to smoke first time?
I will probably be purifying it myself, to get rid of the nasty shit if I do ever try it. How much pure would you use?

It's interesting you ask. I was in the EXACT same situation a few weeks ago.
It all depends on where you live. Any big city would have it, just check out the ghetto. A good place to start to look for places that are notorious for heroin would be the news archives of the newspaper in your city. Search usenet as well. If nothing comes up post a question here asking what neighborhoods of which cities are well known for drugs, etc.
Once you find the place, walk around in a andlook for guys chilling and talking to people who really aren't do shit except slanging drugs. Eye contact is crucial if you want them to approach you. If someone starts talking shit, just keep walking.
Price and ammount also depends on where your from. Wraps can go from $5 to $20 to $50 for some of the really good shit. I think they are sold in 1/16 of a gram usually which is about 60mg. I'm sure it varies. If you want to smoke it that should be enough for a few hits. There really isn't much point in smoking powder, you're better off snorting it. If you get BLACK TAR, then just go ahead and smoke it...it smokes the best out of any kind of heroin. If you get a $20 ball you will probably get like 5-10 hits off of it.

I'm not to sure if I would going walking into your local evryday Ghetto----especially if your a white boy! You are just asking to get jumped or beat on your H........ Look around I am sure one or two of your friends have been into some rough areas of the city--they will know exactly where to drive to--- Beleive me I have almost been killed a number of times over bullshit-- the people down there are all cracked out and fucked up--they will kill you and take your money like nothing---price of life is cheap in the hood'---- I have many cities at my diposile in the tri-state area---donr' go to the most common Heroin one--you could get popped and end up with a dp...--- The H I get comes in 10$ powder(brown yellow) and the wax bags always have a logo on them--- be wary of ones that don't ---although brands don't mean much--they should be 1/16th i believe-- enough for 1 rail in each wax....2 is good for the whole night......

Ummm.... 1mg = 1/1000g, therefore 60mg is .06g or *approximately* 1/16 of a gram.
600mg = 3/5g
 
pure heroin? A myth (unless you make it in a lab). Go downtown, look around...... heroin areas are quite obvious.In the east coast you'll find glassines containing powder (10 to 20 bucks)on the west coast black tar sold in balloons or wrapped in plastic.Can't tell you about the quantity you should use... too many variables.
 
u.k. - what do you mean I'm wrong? 60mg is DEFINITELY not 3/5 of a gram. THat would assume that a gram is 100mg when it is infact 1000mg.
elsaint - maybe YOU wouldn't recommend walking around in the ghetto, but if this guy REALLY wants to KNOW where to find the shit, I might as well let him know. Maybe you shouldn't walk around, just drive around and see how it goes. In some hoods people will approach your car, it just depends on what you look like etc. I went down to the shittiest part of Denver and walked around BY MYSELF for like an hour looking to score some dope. If you make it seem like you don't belong and are all sketched out, you will probably get jumped. I wore a ripped shirt, some dirty shoes and a hat and I was fine. Just don't go down there wearing a Rolex and fur coat, well maybe the fur coat =). If you aren't street smart enough to survive in the hood long enough to score some dope, then you aren't going to get any dope are you? Doesn't seem like you know anyone with a hookup, so this would be my advice.
 
I tried scoring dope off the infamous open air drug markets of west baltimore. It wasn't a problem at all. Just drove it, made some eye contact, he gave me the goods (placed in large sized gel caps) and I gave him the money, rolled up my window and drove back home. No problem. Though the next time I tried I ended up with coke when I specifically asked for h. Oh well, I probably wont' do it again. But it's easy. I dunno if I would do it on foot, but by car, it's a breeze.
 
EvilSpaceMonk----- true I would'nt walk around my local city--Newark ,NJ but this is like no other slum in the world--plan and simple if you are white and walking around you are a COP, or plan on being arrested in 20 min or so for loitering for drugs or the other option is you are stupid-- yes in NYC white people have no problem walkiking around and scoreing drugs because there are so many of them there....---I am a big dude--6'4 265 and have had guns and knifes pulled on me for 20$ or less-- I have been in some real shady situation with gang members selling me shit and other gang bangers trying to take it right after I bought it!! these black dudes are no joke--- yes in a big known city like denver I would have no problem walking around but in a smaller city like newark where whites honestly have no true buisness there is crazy--- that is why I always drove through in the past---THE KEY here is to get one of these thugs to give you his beeper or cell number--than you have it made for all kinds of drugs!! After some of the street dealers see you a couple times the smart ones will talk buiseness with you--- and most of the smack on the east coast is in wax pax
 
Hey el, I'm in cenral NJ & am planning to go into NY this weekend to score some dope.I've just arrived in the U.S, so I have a funny accent,I'm a girl,white, real little & I will be alone, so... give me some advice? I'm gonna need it!
Where should I go? I've scored on the streets before in Australia, so i know about eye contact & shit, but still, drug edicit is different everywhere.I need to know exactly what to ask for( just a small amount). And where do I go to buy fits? Just a Chemist? And sterile water?
Oh, i'll be on foot,so any other info would be greatly appreciated.

As for purification, I would be using the method at erowid for cleaning up street heroin, I doubt it would make pure heroin, but it'd sure as hell be better than when it came.

kell, i'm in nyc and i recommend listening to 'waiting for the man' from the first velvet underground album. surprisingly, things have not changed. plenty of people still get H there, and just about anything else. it is pretty expensive, and is very sketchy (a crime-laden part of town). definitely do not go alone, and obviously go during the daytime.

el saint is correct. No white person really belongs in Newark unless you're going to work in the Ironbound section. However, some "downtown" areas in New Jersey are alright for White people to go to and score some stuff. I personally pick up all of my goods in Paterson and I've never had any trouble with the cops or with my dealer but then again I have his pager # and I don't have to deal with any people who are dealing on corners or in the projects. Like el saint said, if you can get one of these guy's pager numbers you are pretty much set for life. Once you have their number and are cool with them you can get just about any type of drug for a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price than you ever would be able to get in the suburbs.
 
*kell* what's up--- honestly I would not venture into the city right now--- there are many many places around you in central and northern NJ which have some surpriseingly strong Heroin..... Yo I would love to hook up with you and bang some H...........anyway..if you want to e-mail me let me know... I could show you some mint spots around..

Since we're all talking about known drug spots, I'm just outside of the city of Lowell in Massachusetts. I know all sorts of drugs are abound in Lowell, has anyone had good experiences buying here? I usually end up going to the city of Lawrence to get my gear, which is a very scary area. For those of you not from around here, the city of Lawrence is pretty much one big ghetto, and I've been seeing a lot of cops on the streets that I used to get my dope, so I'm hoping to score in Lowell from now on. Anyone got any experiences to share?
