Hello blue light! its been a while :)

So I've been on suboxone for about 3-4 months after a two week long H binge. I would shoot only 1 bag every night and be FLOORED. I never once let myself get addicted to opiates for over 10 years until I started shooting.
Two weeks into my addiction I realized I was being dumb and asked my current psychiatrist for suboxone. He prescribed me two 8mg a day and wanted me to take sub's for almost TWO YEARS.
So obviously I didn't want to do that because my tolerance would skyrocket and I'd never be able to get high again.

For one week I took two 8mg tabs a day then the next few months I took my sub's on and off sometimes one a day sometimes one every three days when I'd feel wds coming.

I decided I wanted to get off sub's. I began to ONLY take my 8mg sub once every three days when I'd feel really crappy. Then a month later I started to take ~2mg every two-three days with no wds. I noticed I'd feel like crap earlier so usually every two days I'd dose.

Now i stopped that regimen after about a week and it has been four days since my last dose. I feel achey and I can't stop yawning. My eyes are watering like crazy. My entire body feels the way my legs do from restless leg syndrome. This really isn't that bad.... I was expecting waaay worse on the fourth day. i always took my subs on the third day so..

I have school tomorrow but I think I'm able to function. Should I not dose? Is this the worst IM going to get? If this is the worst I'm willing to just sit through it. i may Take some Kratom and enjoy being sub free without horrible wds. I've never felt full blown wds before so I don't know if what I'm feeling is bad.

The worst is me yawning every 2 seconds and making all the people around me yawn as well hahah. otherwise the body load is completely bearable.
what do you guys think?

It won't get much worse IME. You'll be good for school. tough to wake up and sleep, thats about it.

The Kratom will feel great, but I ended up trading addictions personally (though the Kratom is easy to manage and way more fun).

is this normal though? I went from taking 8mg twice a week to taking ~.25mg 3-4 times a week without any problems whatsoever.

Nobody here will be able to say definitively whether your WDs will worsen or not, but yawning and watery eyes are usually the symptoms associated with the beginning stages of WD. That being said, suboxone WDs are typically milder than WDs from full agonists, but tend to last longer. Just curious, you stated that you only did H for two weeks and that you've never felt full blown WDs, so why would you start a suboxone regiment?

YMMV?

so i started suboxone because i figured id get W/Ds from two weeks of dope usage. i didnt wanna quit cold turkey and i thought my doc would say "hey listen ill get you off this shit in another 2 weeks" but the asshole wanted me to stay on for years!

I ended up dosing 4mg of sub to get high that night and nodded out for HOURS.
now im fearing my WDs will be worse than before.
:(

16mgs was a lot to be on holy shit but good for you for wanting off right away that takes guts and most docs are like that they want you on the stuff for years. Well can't say for sure if itlk get worse some people breeze through but the worst doesn't really come till around day 7 so your not homefree yet. But sub isn't as intense as other opiates to withdraw from but it can be a pain in the add cause it takes so long to come off some people even a year later can't sleep properly and have no ambition still. Its like being tortured slowly over years instead of ripping the band aid off and getting it over with.
