Azolams, i.e. (presumably) triazolos and other benzos with a nitrogenous pentagonal ring
(According to Google the term is used here)

How do the various triazolobenzodiazepines (alprazolam, triazolam, estazolam, adinazolam, etc.), imidazos (e.g. midazolam), and others with a different nitrogenous pentagonal rings (e.g. mexazolam; there are at least 2 others which I can't find) compare to each other and to the other benzos?

Does anyone know anything about any azolams other than the 4 I mentioned?

Are any of the unusual ones used in some countries? Has anyone tried one of them?

Xanax was the only benzo I really find tolerable (tred four other non-azolam ones). Does estazolam feel just as good and/or lack the feeling of impairment does it feel more like other low-potency benzos such as diazepam and temazepam?

Do doctors have the same reservations about prescribing midazolam for insomnia as they do for triazolam?

only lam benzos i ever did was alprazolam and midazolam so i can only compare two and its been covered before. anyway here are some lam benzos: ketazolam, etizolam, cloxazolam - but i dunno which one is triazol which one is imidazol etc. i never heard of midazolam prescribed as a sleep aid by the way. also triazolam is ultra short acting i dont know how can it prescribed for insomnia

Estazolam subjectively feels not unlike lorazepam. Also, im under the impression that midazolam is prescribed even less frequently than triazolam (i think it became unpopular for physicians to prescribe triazolam in the US after that lady in utah killed her mother in a halcion daze)...

The ones i used:
alprazolam - marked sedation in me, not very euphoric cause i tend to be overpowered by its sedation..
triazolam - you don't feel much this benzo on the body but you feel it really "clean" in the brain and its pretty easy to do too much.. and too much is where the trouble starts with this benzo, you will pass out but will not sleep and make fool of your self.. i once run around naked on the streets cause of this benzo...
estazolam - a more heavy benzo, more body feeling than alprazolam but i seem to enjoy it more, it gives a strong body feel, in the head you feel pretty dazed in a good way, not very clean in the head like triazolam.. but i do enjoy it..
midazolam - a great benzo, specially for mixing with half a beer or so.. It gives a blury euphoric feeling and you can feel your body drugged but in a light way, you can more around easy.. Great benzo indeed.
mexazolam - a lightweight benzo, great for a walk in the park without noticing it very much.. it has more effect on anxiety than on euphoria. Can be euphoric but its pretty light..
cloxazolam - another lightweight benzo, it can be euphoric, but its not felt very much in the body but more on the head, alltought light in the head..
Brotizolam - this one has some effect in common with triazolam, but i consider it a little more euphoric and more body feeling from it, and more a cloudy head. It goes great as a downer high.
I'lll post others that i tried..

My roomate in college was prescribed triazolam for insomnia by his doctor (this was in Korea). I took 4x0.25mg and barely felt any effects despite reading that it was very euphoric, intoxicating, etc. I'd take alprazolam over triazolam any day.
