I'm interested in trying ayahuasca. It's legal, cheap, and is said to give people profound spiritual experiences.
Apparently it's often combined with dmc containing plants. Wikipidia say ayahuasca only becomes active when brewed with an MAOI. I'd be interested in anybody's experience with ayahuasca, and if it should be avoided.
Also, a suggestion of a dmt containing plant, and what MAOI is.

I have limited experiences with hallucinogens.

The plants containing dmt are legal to possess, but illegal to use for ayahuasca.
DMT containing plants include many plants of the acacia genus, but the most popular is mimosa hostilis rootbark, and the MAOI containing plants usually used are the b. caapi vine which is what was historically used by shamans, and syrian rue.
I suggest dmt-nexus for more information they seem to be very helpful, also this is the wrong forum for this, you want the psychedelic drug forum

Please use the search engine, there's lots of threads on ayahuasca.

Also check out Erowid as well :)
