why does choking themselves get some people off?

i never quite understood this, does the actual choking feel good to them or do the pleasure themselves while they do this?

The French do refer to an orgasm as "le petit mort" or "the little death". It's not my bag and is a good way to actually die. I definitely enjoy choking other people in bed almost to the point of them blacking out, but doing it solo is uber dangerous

Isn't that what poppers(alkyl nitrites) are supposed to do? They decrease the oxygen flow to the brain and therefore intensify orgasm.
 
theres a korn song called 'le petit mort', also called ' the last legal drug' its all about sex and shit and the chorus repeats "when you cum, hold your breath". so i tried just holding my breath starting about 10 seconds before cumming and didnt start breathing until 10 seconds after and i guess it was a little more pleasant or intense or whatever but i think actually being choked would just freak me out and ruin it.
 
A big key to doing this is use the buddy system. Doing it by yourself is just dangerous and we all know how bad things can turn in a split second. Michael Hutchence, David Carradine and countless other people have died while chasing that buzz and it's just not worth it on your own.

I've never tried it, but I just wanted to say my piece and urge people to be careful! Plus, how embarrassing would it be to be found dead with a belt around your neck and your dick in your hand? Yes I suspect the effects are somewhat similar. However the NO2 molecule, the active part of poppers, plays an important role as a biological messenger and I think it is that which provides the semi-psychedelic effects of poppers.

There was a rash of deaths in the UK in the nineties of people dying with plastic bags over their heads, oranges in their mouths and dildos up their bottoms.
Oddly many of them were politicians.

Since when has poppers ever been semi-psychadelic?

Its not even one bit slightly psychadelic!
 
I normally don't encourage this, but you kids need to find some real drugs to get you high.
Cheating death just to get "that feeling" is equivalent to playing Russian Roulette with 2 bullets in the chamber.
Sooner or later, death will eventually find you if you keep knocking.
 
me and my partner do it with mild force.. not TOO much but enough to get an effect. I like the aggression, turns me on even more. And not being able to breath also builds up the pressure, resulting in a really amazing orgasm :)

because when you're orgasming the rush of blood to the head after being starved of it makes your orgasm ridiculously kajunga big.

It's great fun but I would never do it alone...that;'s just asking for trouble. I used to do it with my ex fiance.(until I had to bury her under the porch)
 
I completely agree with kayla... The act of choking turns me on so much. Just the thought that I can't do anything and I am helplessly under control gives me much satisfaction :)
 
violence and aggression are the last things i want during sex. i honestly don't understand how choking or any other force can be a turn on. the very idea of rape is an oxymoron to me.

as for doing it on your own... well, yeah i'd rather just use real drugs if i want a buzz badly enough, not that that ever happens even. i'm pretty damned satisfied straight, and with simply making love.
