As if the world stopped spinning....

As if the world stopped spinning
frozen for hours or years
Yet the clock in my room keeps ticking
Thoughts keep racing
Questions with no answers
Sedating my body and mind
Searching around the corner.....
down the road.....
finding nothing to no avail
Emptiness hits hard
Stepping away from the chaos
Dreaming and living in a dream world
for an hour or two not worrying not caring
Moving forward or am I moving behind ?
Ignorance is bliss so they say..
but than again they do pray
yet they are fading away
Wishing and hoping for better things to
come thier way
While thier family is gradually growing apart
Another day
As if the world stopped spinning
Yet clocks everywhere keep ticking
Still searching for more...
Normalcy is a bore
Consisting of routine and play
Ill come again a different way
Another day
Withs answers and joy
Beliefs
Hopes
Dreams
Change as they way
I will not fade away
