Hey guys, I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone had any experience with opiates and singing/performing? I believe I have real potential at it but would like to try something to practice(and not be bored) and free me up to try new things..as far as addiction i've always been good at stoping something before full on abuse so i'm not worried about that. Looking for any science on the matter or personal experience..Thanks!!:)

None personally. If your goal is to sound like tom waits sure perfect for having a scraggly throat and singing the blues.

^that's actually reasonably accurate. Opiates dry out your throat/mouth so you'll end up sounding more like Tom Waits or Bob Dylan.

If you're looking for something to help performance anxiety there are better options.

Hi Andrew, welcome to bluelight :)

I'm gonna close this because you have a duplicate thread posted in other drugs. If you could please avoid posting multiple duplicate threads across the boards in the future it would be greatly appreciated. Hope you find the answer you're looking for.
