anyone tried DMAA or Phenprobamate?

Anyone tried DMAA (Geranamine) or phenprobamate? if so, what other stimulant/stimulants do you/can you compare DMAA to?
And what are your thoughts on phenprobamate?
I'm just curious.
I've searched around and it seems a few people like it. Others hate it. (For both)

Yeah, it's mainly a peripheral stimulant, it causes headaches, and it's generally a shitty drug. Some people use it for working out or something. It's not very recreational.

I have used it a few times. No fun at all, blacked out on it once. Overdosed on it another time mixed with some HBWR and kratom. Awful I was vomitting for about 12 hours. Basically its a stimulant that can make you feel slightly warm and lovey, but feels quite dirty, sicky and chemically. Not worth the time.

DMAA is a perfectly fine drug if used properly. 25-50mg can provide a quick emotional lift and burst of energy: more than that and you start running into the nasty peripheral side effects. It's slightly stronger than caffeine but it is most definitely not a substitute for amphetamines or more powerful stimulants.

i've never tried DMAA, how it compares to ephedrine/pseudoephedrine?

*i don't care much for ephedrine/pseudoephedrine, so if DMAA is a less recreational stimulant then i'll know not to bother with it.

IIRC DMAA metabolizes to ephedrine so the effect is similar, although I think there are other things going on as well. I find it smoother and less jittery than ephedrine. I generally take 50-75mg with my coffee: it makes for a brighter morning without the flushing, nausea and jittery feeling I frequently get from ephedra and a greater mood lift.

All that being said, I remember 100mg feeling distinctly unpleasant, with all those ephedra side effects plus a splitting headache. So it's not conducive to stupid binging ala mephedrone and MDPV. Once you get a little past the mild stimulus you start running into peripheral symptoms.

It syncretizes well with caffeine: I would guess a little DMAA could add a peppy edge to many other "research chemicals" which are sold in "party pills." But I can also see things turning ugly if people take too many of those pills at once... which people invariably will.

NZ doctors blame DMAA for causing brain haemorrhage

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10694845

NZ Herald said:
A 21-year-old has suffered a brain haemorrhage after taking two tablets of a legal party pill, leaving his memory and reasoning impaired.

The New Zealand Medical Journal today published the case, the first serious complication from the pills reported in medical literature.

The 21-year-old man, who was unnamed in the article, swallowed two party pills labelled "99.9 per cent-pure DMAA" along with a can of beer and a caffeine tablet.

DMAA, also known as geranamine, has become a popular ingredient in legal party pills after the Government banned BZP in early 2008.
