Might be prescribed the nasal spray of the antidiuretic hormone due to my body not producing it / not receiving. Sort of like what happens in diabetics with insulin.

Anywho, anyone have experience with this?

I may be jumping the gun on the diagnosis as the lab work hasn't even come back yet, but I am not thrilled with the possibility of having to take a hormone for the rest of my life... But drinking nine to twelve liters of water a day is not fun, especially when I don't/can't have water with me--Can you say "excruciating dehydration headache"? 8(

I'd say you're jumping the gun. Wait on the results first.

However it's still OK to inquire - I haven't ever used anything like that. Maybe others will have something to add in, although I'm not sure.

Best of luck though - I'll be curious to hear how it works out for you. :)

Just bumping to see if anyone with experience in this sees it...

To update on my situation, there isn't much to update: I still have not gotten the results back as the doctor will not let the nurses give me the results over the phone--I have to talk with her personally, and whenever I have called, she is busy/not there. 8( I'm assuming there is nothing dire wrong with me or else she would've made more of an effort to contact me. One of these days when I have an extra hour, I'll take a trip out to the office again.

In other news, my water consumption is down to five or six liters a day, which is still a lot, but is a lot better than the eight to twelve before. I still get horrible dehydration headaches, but after a longer duration. :-/
