I need to live before I don't know if I'm dead
After going to the ER once because I was having severe derealization/personalization and anxiety or what not combined with bad chest pains I discovered I have PVCs or premature ventricular contractions sometimes which usually only happen after periods of inactivity, stress, certain drugs, and nicotine. Apparently it's not that uncommon to have them sometimes and are often benign which mine are. Do any bluelighters have PVCs? It feels like your heart skipps a beat and beats harder kind of a flutter. I personally do stimulants and I've noticed nicotine and inactivity have more of an effect on them, although Dopamine reuptake inhibitors like ethylphenidate and ritalin can cause them coming down. I might have a heart monitor on for 24 hours sometime in the future to see how many I have a day, but most likely not.

How interesting, I just discovered I have a similar condition - my Doctor called it ventricular ectopic beats. Ie: extra heartbeats.

The scary thing for me, is I don't take drugs regularly (very infrequently in fact, and when I do it's nothing that would put undue stress on the heart) and I don't have any caffeine or nicotine in my system EVER. :\

It's been an issue for me for the past three weeks or so. I'm still trying to nut out out the cause of it.
