Any younger people that have gotten scripted Ambien?

I really need something to help me sleep. My schedule is constantly getting fucked up because I can't, or am not willing to try and fall asleep. If I had a pill I'd look forward to going to sleep.

I've always felt that doctors are much more willing to prescribe sleep-aids to older people than someone my age (just turned 20).

Is there anyone around my age that is scripted Ambien or similar prescription sleep-aid?

I was prescribed stillnox when i was like 19 but yeah you have to keep pressuring them because most doctors are hesitant to give young people benzo's, stillnox didnt work for me but i found a good doc that scripted me clonazepam.

i am 20 and i have an ambien script, i love it/ hate it tho because it knocks me the fuck out when i take it, but when i dont take it i can never fall asleep and sometimes (rarely) i will lay in my bed for 8 hours without sleeping a wink

I got my 1st AmBien script when I was 15 or 16 from my Psychiatrist, Just go to a more liberal doctor..................

Every GP I've had has refused to prescribe sleeping pills. I'm 25 and in the UK. I got some diazepam for anxiety which could be used as a sleeping pill. They tell me 'we don't prescribe sleeping pills.' Is anyone in the UK my age prescribed benzodiazepine/nonbenzodiazepine sleep meds.?

I'm 22 and he's still a little reluctant to give me them.
He does because he knows what a dire state my sleep's in. But only 2weeks of every month.

Not ambien here, but I'm young and I've gotten plenty of benzos and other things of that nature. Like someone above said, find more liberal (less strict) doctor.

Yes, when I was 18 I was prescribed 60 10mg ambien pills. It was when ambien first hit the market and most kids weren't yet "abusing" it yet.
I do agree that doctors are more likely to prescribe potentially addictive medication to older people. It's just the way it is. Not every doctor is like that, but a lot are.

I changed doctors recently for the first time - won't it look weird changing again and asking for sleep meds.?

I doubt it would look weird to the doctor, he probably wouldn't pay it much attention. If he asks you about it just tell him how your former doctor wouldn't take you seriously.

Its actually my suboxone doctor, so he knows I'm a drug addict, to compound the retardness of it all....

But yeah, the docs don't give a shit- you don't even need to have your old doctor send your medical records to him (not where I live at least). So screw it. Tell him you haven't had a doc for a year or two, or whatever story you want to go with.

I know a girl who got them at 15, she would abuse them though. She said it felt like E... it doesn't.

I'm 18 and my psychiatrist offered me a scrip for Ambien CR. Then again, I can ask him for pretty much any benzo (with the exception of the highly-potent hypnotic ones like midazolam or triazolam) and he would give it to me. I'm happy with my clonazepam pro re nata though.
