Heroin An odd problem

So ive been using dope for about a year now, mostly iv, and as my tolerance has gone up and I have increased my doses I have started getting these very intense histamin reaction that are so intense that they hurt and are so uncomfortable that is almost not worth it sumtimes. But I have found taking sum diphenahydramine helps a bit. The reaction feels like that tingling sensation you get when your arm falls asleep except much much more intense. But this isnt the problem I just included this because I thought the information might be needed or could be related to my problem.

Now the actual problem is every so often after I do a shot I will get this very uncomfortable feeling where my heart starts to race and thump and I get very shaky and can not keep my hands still, then I start to break out in these red bumps all over my body and face some are small little bumps sum are quite large and some of it is just redness like red bloches on my skin, then i also feel a little numbness in my lips sometimes and the whole time I have a very uneasy uncomfortable feeling that I cant shake. But this whole problem lasts anywhere from 10 to 30 min. So I looked and searched around and could not find anything so I was hoping someone on here could help shed some light on this situation cuz I cant stand that feeling.

It sounds like an allergic reaction to a cut in your dope.

That sounds to me like mild anaphylaxis(allergic shock.) The normal treatment would be an anti-histamine and then in severe cases epinephrine, like an epi-pen. You probably have an allergy to opiates or a cutting agent in your dope.

The real question is; does this happen with all opiates, or just this batch or supplier? I've worked with people who have had an allergy to morphine, and it's a serious thing. Sometimes symptoms only manifesting themselves later on in life.

At any rate, I would tell you to use extreme caution when using opiates and keep plenty of benadryl handy and maybe an epi-pen if you can score one. This could potentially be very dangerous and lead to respiratory distress and even death if untreated. It sounds like you know what you're doing, but please be careful. Maybe get an allergy test and see if you can legitimately get an epi-pen. I've dealt with patients who had been stung by bees as children, never had any problems and then later in life got stung again and almost died as a result. Luckily they were treated quickly and survived, but they had the same symptoms you're describing and then stopped breathing. Allergies are strange in that regard.

I concur with the problem lying in the cut. However, if you just get large histamine releases when doing GOOD dope or prescription (unadulterated) opiates, I'd recommend Hydroxyzine as an antihistamine and maybe some ondasetron.

IME shooting morphine sulphate, I get HUGE histamine reactions (but not like the ones you described) that are so uncomfortable that it overshadows any benefits (analgesia) the morphine provides. Then again, we're not supposed to be shooting the pills in the first place, and the histamine release I get is enough for me to say fuck shooting morphine. However, morphine that is designed to be IV'd is a VERY VERY different story my friend.
