Stimulants Amphetamines + paroxetine (Paxil)

Okay, so I want to take 30-60 mg of Adderall IR tonight and read through some programming tutorials. Nothing out of the ordinary for me. Here's the problem: Recently, I was prescribed 10 mg Paxil 1x daily. I've heard that SSRIs can cause serotonin syndrome in combination with amphetamines; should I be okay as long as I'm conservative with my Adderall dosage? Do any of you have any experience with this particular combination?

I take lexapro with my adderall and never have any bad side effects.

My doctor has explained to me many times its a safe combo.

You should be fine. Adderall is D amphetamine which has little to no effect on seretonin. It acts primarily upon dopamine n neurepinephrine levels n receptors in ur brain. Now methamp or MDMA r a different story. They have a more pronounced effect on seretonin.
