Stimulants Amphetamine sulphate - odd delay of proper effects

I have searched hard yet found no topics of people having similar issues on Bluelight.

To give an example: When I ingest a dose, on an empty stomach, I begin to feel some of the effects such as a boost of mood, motivation, and energy during the first hour.
After that, they suddenly wane and I may be left with only 20% of the effects. That doesn't make sense, since an amphetamine dose should last for several hours at least.
Eight hours after the first dose I can feel the major effects returning. This usually accompanies eating a meal, but that is not always the case.

This has led to impulsive redosing since I don't seem to get an understanding of the logic of how this drug works. It's not just me either, more people around me have tried and have this weird "delay" of effects. The most extreme example I can think of is a dose properly starting to work twelve hours after taking it.

I know Eurospeed is notoriously adulterated but my batches are decent quality. 70 mg has all the classic effects of amphetamine, it's just that the come-up process is so damn unreliable.

It shouldn't be a question of tolerance either, since I have had decent breaks for up to two months, yet that does not seem to have a big difference.

Anyone who has had similar experiences would be welcome to chime in.
Could the problem be related to digestion, pharmacology, or something else? What tips could be used to get more reliable effects?

Stomach PH will have an effect on bioavailability of amphetamine sulphate, the more acidic the less amphetamine is absorbed and the opposite for alkaline conditions. The stomach has a lower PH with no food so less amphetamine entering the blood, this increases slightly with food and then again in the duodenum so PH and digestion would be my guess.

someone using ketamine nearby...maybe?
Would you mind expanding on that?

Thank you, this seems to make sense. Dosing on an empty stomach yields more consistent results.

Are there any practical tips for achieving alkaline conditions in the stomach?
