Amanitas muscaria (meds interactions?)

trying this with my friend.

are any of these prescriptions gonna fuck with my trip?

1. Concerta - 54mg - 1 pill in morning
2. Abilify - not sure of dosage - 1 pill in morning
3. Prestiq - not sure of disage - 1 pill in morning

How would you even know if something was "fucking" with your trip? I thought that was the main action of deliarants.
 
I would say don't take any of that the day you're going to be tripping. From personal experience I know not to take Adderall when I want to trip or get high. For tripping, which already stimulates my mind, the Adderall just keeps my mind moving too fast and makes me feel too speedy to sit around and enjoy the experience. It also makes it significantly harder for me to get high when smoking weed.

I think if you can spare one day out of your year to not take any meds, it should be the day you trip.
 
Shit man that was bad advice. I just saw that Prestiq is an anti-depressant and Abilify is for Bipolar Disorder.

General guidelines for psychedelics are:

1. If you are depressed, you are more likely to have a difficult trip, as psychedelics often magnify or intensify pre-existing feelings.

2. If you have a predisposition to Bipolar disorder, or any other latent psychological disease, psychedelics can trigger/worsen these symptoms.

I would say tripping might not be the best thing for you to do at this point in your life.
 
i have tripped on salvia many times before, sometimes i dont trip at all, but never had a bad trip, I just say i wish i could go off all my meds, I dont need them, I have a crazy abusive mother that thinks I need medicine, like thats going to get rid of the trauma of her abusing me, lol, 2 more years and I'm gone forever
 
muscimol is an agonist of GABA. what kind of interactions so GABA-ergics have with your meds?

honestly i don't know why you would want to do muscaria in the first place, it's not that much fun.

i don't trip for fun, i trip to explore, and open my mind, not to "have fun" dont get me wrong, tripping is fun, its just not why I do it.
 
have you ever taken amanita muscaria before?

honestly i would suggest you seriously ask your doctor, because muscimol has a completely different action from the classical psychedelics and you might get some very bad interactions with your drugs.
 
amanitas really aren't anything like mushrooms containing psilocybin or psilocin. i only tried them once but they made me feel really leaden and lethargic, it was like the state of being neither asleep or awake. it wasn't enlightening or deep or spiritual. it wasn't particularly enjoyable nor was it unpleasant. i'm not sure this is the kind of mushroom trip your looking for.


chronic, while abilify is an antipsychotic, it's also used as an add on to antidepressants and doesnt automatically imply that lump is bipolar.
