I know there have been many similar questions to this asked in the recent past. I just did a search and could not find my answer, though.
I consider myself very experienced with drugs, but have never tried smoking a crack rock. Last night, I got my first chance.
I bought 2 $10 rocks and smoked them. Not much at all. Granted I had a lot to drink and the only pain pills I swalowed were 2 Ultram and 5 Darvocet (pretty boring).
So I went back to the source and bought 3 more $10 rocks. I smoked them one after the other in my glass weed pipe. They seemed to melt with no problem and were gone very quickly. As I understand it, crack is supposed to make a crackling sound.
What I felt was just like a very mild cocaine injection. There was some warmth and euphoria, but little else. I was asleep within 5 minutes after smoking these things.
Did I just get weak, worthless stuff or is that all it is?
 
If you've banged coke you're not likely to be blown away from smoking rock...the rush just doesn't compare.
but it does sound like you got some bunk shit if you smoked five rocks and then fell asleep.

I think crack it's a waste, the high doesn't last long enough. But you'll have to try it to form your own opinion.Go to a gas station and buy one of those glass tubes that have a little rose inside, empty it and stick a piece of brillo (the kind without soap!)about a 1/4 inch from one of the ends, that's where you put your rock.
 
No, you got crack - you just react like most people, and say "huh? thats it?" .. if you have IV'd coke then to say it was like "mild IV coke" is accurate ...

Yeah, I guess you are right about using the wrong pipe. I just don't have a crack pipe sitting around the house. And the rock just seemed to fit nicely in the bowl.
Some other people smoked a rock or 2 from the same source and said it was fun. I was just really let down and expected more. If that's all there is to crack, I'll definately stick to IV or railing coke and how in the hell could somebody become addicted to that?
The reason that I fell asleep so fast was because of all the downers I had taken. I alread had 2 mg of Klonopin and 2 mg of Xanax and almost an entire fifth of rum. That's usually not a big deal, though, and I expected the crack to just take over and send me to some other planet. I've just heard from friends that it's some HUGE experience.

If you IV coke then there is no question - smoking is a joke, stick to the rigs!

Alright, I hate to be redundant, and I usually spend more time lurking this forum than posting, but I have one more question. So I certainly didn't want to waste space with another post.
You can flame me and say use the "search" feature... and all that but...
I just scored another 4 rocks from a different source and wanted to try this again.
I was almost totally sober this time (just 3 drinks) and smoked the crack again. I couldn't find one of those rose things from a gas station. So I used an empty beer can with some foil wrap around a hole that I cut. I taped the foil so it would be air tight.
I smoked one rock and got a cool little buzz. Next, I smoked all 3 rocks together and got a nice, fun ass buzz. It was like 2 minutes of strong euphoria and then about 10 minutes of lingering feeling.
Buying rocks is expensive and sometimes you have to go way out of your way to get a hold of these things. Is this the same feeling the other people get or what? I just want to know what other "experts" say or should I just drop this drug completely?
Sorry about dragging this question out again, but I was really excited about this and was just a little let down. There aren't many drugs that I haven't tried, and I was just really looking forward to this new thing (crack). After trying it sober, I have come to the conclusion that it really isn't worth the money/time. I mean, IV coke doesn't last a long time either, but it seems more worth the $$ and if you aren't going to flame me, what do you think???
 
yeah , IV coke doesn't last a long time either but it's a much stronger rush.
And it's very common for people to spend a lot of money on crack, all the money that it's in your pockets (then hit the atm).Last time I did crack I witnessed this guy that sold his car to a dealer for five 20 dollar rocks... Some guy in Oakland CA. a few years ago saw me put 5 bucks in my pocket and tried to rob me in broad day light, another time I spent the whole night smoking with this guy, then around noon when we were running out (and I was ready to go home and crash ), took out a knife and ordered me to empty wallet and pockets; like I'm gonna keep money in my wallet or pockets when I'm crack binging in the getto!
My point is people are known to do crazy shit for crack. It really isn't my thing I can think of better drugs to spend my money on.
 
Dump this drug man! Youknow the joys of IV coke, no needto dick aroundwith smoking rocks... you spend more for less of a high, that math doesn't work out..

IV'ed coke is wayyyy better than smoking crack, and if you have relatively pure cocaine, use clean needles and take all the proper precautions with your IV'ing, then indeed IV'ing is also better for your health. Smoking crack is harsh on the lungs.
In general, smoking anything is bad for you, but smoking non-plant material is even worse.

I've smoked,snorted,and blasted the shit and every time I've gone "where is the high, I'm still waiting".
The expectation of the high is a real let down as far as I'm concerned.
Let the very very rich yuppies have it.
It is WAY WAY overrated.
 
Apparently, you haven't tried the good stuff. Where I live, 90% of the coke sucks and you really have to search to get some of the pure (relatively) Columbian snow.
The difference between snorting a line of bunk coke compared with a line of the pure stuff is like night and day.
 
I used to be one of those who felt that coke was overrated, however I have found this to be untrue--- But first stay away from crack...the high Is worthless... I've IV's twice and smoked twice---(from my own stash that I rocked myself) and smoking is just like a ride in kiddie land...
as for snorting coke being over rated... It takes alot, I mean alot of coke to produce something other than the short term speedy effects... Now I am a pretty big guy (320lbs) so take that into account---but one of the few times I got the 'coke high' I did a teener of top quality cocaine in around 4 hours (it's always fun when your dealer wants company

coke isn't over rated, however the high is not worth street prices... unfortunatly, coke is one of the most widely availible drugs... so basically if you want to do coke and get off...do it right and spend the dough---if not stick to other drugs which provide more bang for the buck

but, bang for the buck is the key phrase for me and I did say very very rich yuppies.
I'll stick to glass/ice/meth/speed thanks.
