Alternative DMT extraction solvents?

I already have lye but it's at another location that I won't be at for a little while and don't yet have naptha; I'm actually 2 bucks short of ordering it online :/

My question is, is it possible to replace lye with another base such as baking soda (albeit in larger quantities), and is there anything that can replace naptha, that one would find "around the house"? It might produce a less pure product, but is there anything to replace lye and naptha (that I don't currently have) to make a smokeable DMT? Keep in mind I have powdered MHRB, not whole bark.

Thanks

ah, I can't believe I didn't find this earlier. It was a basic google search. *embarassment*

But I might have some questions to pose for the "poor man's DMT extraction guide"

Baking soda is way too weak. You need a strong base like NaOH, KOH, etc.

In place of naphtha you can use xylene, toluene, hexane, heptane, etc.

"poor man's DMT extraction guide" says you can use baking soda(converted in oven to sodium carbonate) or just buy "washing soda".

It also say you can use isopropanol as solvent.

Have only tried STB method with MHRB, NaOH, heptane/naphta - so can't compare them unfortunately. But I must admit, that I think it would be the effort worth getting your hands on the "right" chemicals.
