(answered) alter ego profiles

I'm really curious as to why this is in the bluelight rules.
Why no "alter ego" profiles?
I've never seen any rules like that.

1. Why not
2. How would you catch someone doing that

1 - just like many social media websites, we don't permit alternate accounts. The most obvious reason is so you can't fool around on one, pick up infractions and hop onto another account, and another, and another...

2 - ip match.

Is multiple accounts a serious problem?

Yes. It warrants an infraction to the main account.

If you wish to abandon your old account, you must inform staff so we can terminate it.
