Benzos Alprazolam and Fluconazole

Can my xannie bars be potentiated by taking Fluconazole, and if yes, about how much, before or afterr i pop my Xanax ? Thanks8)

Ok so Iv just found out it can potentiate Alprazolam, in large doses I believe, but most likley before or after ?

Fluconazole is an inhibitor of the human cytochrome P450 system, particularly the isozyme CYP2C9 (CYP3A4 to lesser extent). In theory, therefore, fluconazole decreases the metabolism and increases the concentration of any drug metabolised by these enzymes.

To potentiate alprazolam with this drug (if fluconazole indeed does potentiate alprazolam), you would take the fluconazole first.
