okay, I have basically been hooked on opiates/suboxone since january of last year (2010), and I have been using my boyfriends suboxone to get off of heroin for the past few weeks (I have never been perscribed it myself).

I have less than half of a 8 mg suboxene left. usually I would take a fourth of an 8 mg tab sublingually for my normal dose, but since I barely have any left I IV'd a little chunk of sub this morning. I would really rather not IV it since its dangerous but I have so little left that I don't want any to get wasted sublingually. I'm a college student and this is finals week and I also have a part time job so I really don't want to go through sub withdrawals now. my boyfriend is out of his and isn't getting anymore until next wednesday. he claims that he just stopped taking it and got over the subs easily in 5 days, so he isn't that concerned with withdrawals now.

I have no clue what to do. I cant make it through the withdawals. I have no money but I know that if I am forced to withdraw I will somehow come up with the money for one bag of dope, and I don't want to do that. I have health insurance (although I cant find my bluecross blueshield card right now) but the sub doctors i've called say they don't take insurance. the methadone clinic has suboxone but you have to pay $175 up front for a week, and they make you take and finish an 8 mg sub while you are there. they have methadone for $13 aday but I'd rather not make the switch. all I need is one or 2 suboxenes to make it through the week but this seems like its going to be impossible. but if I don't have them I will try to get dope again. does anyone have any suggestions? what makes sub withdrawal easier? I live in Orlando btw.

Thats really bad planning I mean I don't know what else to say. You should have known back when you had 10 subs left that you wouldn't be getting anymore and you should have started plugging them back then, they would have lasted forever that way and you wouldn't have to worry about injecting them (plug as dissolve in water and put up your ass). Doing it that way they basically last 4 times as long as sublingual.

Because you live in Florida you live in a restricted state for ordering certain lesser opiates online (tramadol). When I get in an emergency situation like that I come with up with just $100, fill out a 10 question consultation for the dozens of known pharmacies that do it, and get tram fedexd straight to my house. They always approve the prescription and its legal in NJ. But not in florida.

In all honesty you have to learn how to plan a bit better or control your impulses if thats whats driving you into these situations. It took me likely 10-20 unplanned wds like you're in right now before one time I decided "I'm a fucking idiot, for now on when I get low I am planning out months before I run out to taper". I never run out now. You always need to give yourself ample time to reup and not wait till last minute like this.

The only other recommendations would be borderline illegal. But don't forget there are lots of other meds than can help you with opiate wds. Maybe you can get lyrica? maybe some benzos? If not theres not much you can really do. If I was in your situation I'd start making serious phone calls, or go to costco and get a huge bottle of loperamide/immodium. Read some of the immodium threads and learn how to match your dose, as immodium has helped me a lot in the past in similar circumstances. I had to take like 40-50 at once, but it did manage to get rid of most of the physical wds.

Otherwise this situation will be a good learning experience (no offense at all) because it will teach you how to not get trapped in this scenario again. If it gets bad, what Id honestly recommend you do is cancel all plans you have (work/school/etc) for a week, call all these places up and tell them you have the flu, sit in bed and ride it out as it will be wayyyyy easier if you don't have any obligations or have to be around people. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
