This was sent to me by a dear friend of mine. I have just one word for this "Inspirational"

I dream of a day when all mankind realizes the truth that the rest of humanity
has ever embraced; we are as we are, not as we were or as we are yet to come.
There is no my way, there is no your way, there is only One who created all,
with a dream of equality, freedom, love, peace, joy, harmony...
The strong should protect the weak, the courageous should empower the fearful,
the wealthy should enrich the poor. The ones who have faith should encourage the
world to let go and let God.
We all have our beliefs, why can't we all realize it is one and the same - no
one is wrong and everyone is right, put it all together and gain the perspective
of the big picture.
I am me. daughter, sister, aunt, mother, friend, lover, wife. All that and more,
but all merely me. Am I to ask for one defining term to my life? Am I to demand
that all call me by the same term? Are we all to demand explanation of our
quirks and foibles from all those around us? With respect to our existence, why
do we need more? I take it on faith that I am because I am. I dream of a day
when faith becomes all.

That was totally awesome. If only the rest of the world could just experience that sense of enlightenment that a few of us already have.

"I can't see! I can't see! Oh wait.... I just had my eyes closed the whole time."

I was stupid enough to get a master's in religion which I don't use professionally. So, I'm going to use it here.
We are one people on one planet. However, I'm not too convinced that all beliefs meld into one. There are some pretty big differences between say a Buddhist (who doesn't believe in a god), to a Chistian, Jew, Muslim (who believe in one god), to a Hindu (that believes in many gods).
And why should we all be as one? I think it is just as important to celebrate our differences as that which unites us. Differences are the spice of life.

Thank you, my friend. As I was unable to post for various reasons I appreciate that you thought enough of this to post it for me. As a reply to the replies...
I celebrate our differences as people, that is what makes life worth living. As for the differences in our origin, we were all created equal and by One. Doesn't that in itself indicate that there is only one way? How can there be many when we were all begotten in the same manner, unless you believe in many Gods, then we may have been created with differences in origin and creation. Who knows? Maybe I am totally off my rocker... or are we all?
