All About Preppin your Shot of dope (heroin)

Most long-time IV users seem to prep their shots fast, like it's some sort of race. They usually comment about how fast they can prep, et cetera.

But not me. I take like an hour, to 2 hours, to prep my shot. I think about it, toy with the idea as I lay in bed, get on Bluelight for a bit. Then I'll take out my works, dump the dose in the spoon, ponder for a while, use the bathroom. Then maybe I'll go check my email. Then I'll draw up, get a drink, pop the bubbles out. I'll sit for a good 20 minutes from the time I'm all ready to go to popping the sucker.

Does anyone else procrastinate terribly with how they prep their shots, or are you a speed racer?

(Even right I've got works out and killing time!)

I'd say anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.
 
I would have to say that most IV users prep their shots as fast as possible. because they want to get high, not look at a needle. but I know where youre coming from on the procrastinating. I like to take a fairly long time to chop up pills, or whatever I'm about to snort, like taking time to make sure its chopped as finely as possible. I dont know its just a thing I do.
 
I dont indugle daily anymore.. so when i do shoot i tend to draw out the process from 10minutes to an hour to prolong the pleasure... kinda like stopping before you cum wait for 5 minutes then start going again.... I really enjoy iv opiate drug use and like to savour the very few shots i allow myself these days
 
I would take time if I could. The reason that is Theodore.... is most long-time users never have any saved in the morning and have been waiting all day, need to get off, or are getting off in unlikely areas where it would be unsafe to take an hour...
 
i prep very very quickly. basically because although its something i guess i enjoy doing, i enjoy what comes next more :)
 
I would guess like 2 minutes flat from sitting down with all the gear to finished.
 
why is every thread T.R. makes about how much of a junkie he "isn't"
we get it, you chip. ok. great. nothing personal, just chill out on how casual of a user you are and all us addicts are pieces of shit

exactly.

Im usually nodding before anyone else im with even has a lighter under their spoon. I have no patience. I dont even tie off or register because thats extra time used that I could be high. Its also not necessary, my veins protrude terribly and I can tell when Im in because of the little drop of blood that squeezes in on its own without registering (you all know what I mean)

What does this have to do with the thread or my topic?

I just take forever, I don't know why. I don't normally procrastinate on things in general. Just with shooting, I take my sweet time to prep a shot and all.
 
Odd, I dont shoot but the trend follows without the needle.

Preparing opiates to sniff - 5-10 minutes. I really grind them down to a fluffy powder.

Cocaine - should do the same, if not spend more time working out the lumps but its a quick slam, chop, sniff.

Interesting eh?

same here. What ever drug could be already powdered (from a capsule), and I'm making lines, dividing it up evenly, kind of a romance. The ritual is a very important part of it.

Haha...it goes even farther. I don't allow myself to do coke anymore, just kind of done with it I guess. But the funny thing is, if I'm w/ some friends who have it, I want to be the guy chopping it up and making lines, I enjoy that and it doesn't bug me that I'm not doing it with them.
 
it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to prepare my morning dose of heroin... .2 to .3 depending on quality and how hard or soft the raw is
 
It took me no longer then 3 minutes;im like a kid at a candy shop. Once I get it I cant wait to use it. Since I been in rehab I have not used in 4 months and I miss it everyday that life goes on.
 
It takes me about 10-15 minutes to prep a shot of dilaudid, maybe 5-10 for a shot of heroin. By the way there is a good logical reason to do it all at once and quickly, start with clean hands and then your shot will be cleaner. If you are walking around and touching things without cleaning your hands every time you are mucking shit up.
 
under a minute, easily, when I still indulged.

funny you mention "speedracer" TR - because myself the crew I ran with would have "dope olympics" to see who could prep, point, and shoot the quickest.
