Alittle pre-shpongle advice.

Hey Bluelight,

Going to see Shpongle again in Baltimore this saterday. I have alot to choose from. but im kinda pulled in different directions on what I should do first so hear it goes.


Im thinking of candy flipping (Cid then 3-4 hours later some molly) while that sounds great, it is shpongle. and id much rather do lsd and k together as they've always created a perfect synergy especially as psy shows.


If I were to just take cid and k at the show. would it be too late to dose on mdma at 5+ hours after dosing? never done cid k and molly together. Most of the time the k just completely overpowers the molly so theres really no point unless I were to just candy flip there and have nitrous and k for when we head back.

Let me know your thoughts or expieriences. thanks
 
I honestly say, either higher dose LSD trip, or do LSD and k together and take bumps as the show goes on.
And btw, i am bowing to you right now, I was supposed to see shpongle in LA and i had money for tickets and everything, but i couldn't get a ride :( they have been my all time favorite artist in the world for years :/ and one of my dreams is too see them live. so enjoy it for me man :) let me know how it is :D
 
i'm going to the same show saturday! shoving my brain into your situation I would candy flip there and save the k for after getting back. but damn, no matter what you choose it sounds like it'll be spectacular. I was just going to go on something relatively gentle, like a couple tabs and/or possibly a roll (no molly in my neighborhood). I guess thats a hypothetical candy flip. I have to drive back so I don't want to be too roasted.
 
speaking of shpongle shows. when its just a dj set is that really worth going to? is it really much different than just being at a rave that's playing shpongle and other twisted music?

i only ask cuz there was a shpongle dj set in my town and while i love shpongle and i'd really love to see a live show i don't think i'd care too much for simon playing twisted tracks. i could play the same tracks myself (maybe not add anything in or have it sound the same but still i just don't think it'd be that different)

Got me a system for these types of situations. :D
 
I'm not a big fan of K at musical environments, I noticed it dulls out some of the sounds for me. On bigger doses, it even filters some of them out completely, leaving for a boring set. I say either take the LSD or even better, candyflip. Save the K for when you get home.
 
I *just* saw Shpongle on tuesday in Calgary Alberta, fucking AMAZING show!!! I'm so stoked to hear about others getting to experience it...I loved it, can't wait until I can see him again. Hopefully at an outdoor music fest nest time, how I love to dance and flail!

anyway, my itinerary for the night was:
-pure MDMA parachuted and bumped throughout the show, I tend to feel overwhelmed if I take psychedelics at hot and crowded music venues so this is just grand for me!

-we went to our friend's place to crash afterwards with a few other pals, and we all did a bunch of K and the occasional nitrous balloon, and later on I did 17mg of 2C-D (first time with that one), which I found mixed amazingly with the other drugs I did that night!! I highly recommend that combo.

It was a phenomenal night, such great energy at the show that fueled some truly psychedelic times for my friends and I...I'll never forget it <3

Obelus id like to meet up with you if that would be something your down for. Always wanted to actually meet another bluelighter in person. haha.

Im thinking on going to take 2 blotters off the bat. once up maybe bump k once or twice and hope simon is on at that time, if not, 2 or 3 hours into it ill eat 100 megs on molly and then another hit when were walking back to the hotel into nitrous land ^.^
 
Its shpongle, don't be afraid to break out the K....

Its only halfway danceable, you can at the very least manage to stand and sway back and forth...

Oh and when i saw shpongle a month ago, 10 minutes into the set the smell of DMT filled the air...
 
Its a little more manageable if you throw like 50mg into a blunt or joint and just hit it and pass it back and forth among friends....
 
I saw Shpongle in L.A. I say stick with the Candyflip. Save the K maybe for the encore but I was on 4 meo pcp after 2ci and the 4 meo kind of put me out of it and he was spinning all really danceable stuff and not much like psybient slower stuff. I was dancing really hard on some songs, he adds like extra kick drums or something to a few songs.

What kind of a question is this? IT was an amazing show. While live would probably certainly take the cake, this was more than him just spinning shpongle music. He had dancers dressed in tribal masks and an artist painting on the side of the stage, cool ass psychedelic backdrop, you missed out.

sounds about right.

just watch your ketamine intake or you may end up like me and mg gf sitting againnstthe wall confused as fuck while getting the most amazing light show from a beautiful hippie girl.

actually i take that back, go to town on that K (but be safe)

Dude, this is tonight right? I'm so jealous of you. Shpongle are amazing, I'd love to see them live.

Definitely flip, don't bother with the K until you start coming down a bit - it'll probably add a nice, dissociative element at that point?

I too finds that, unlike 'cid and molly, k dulls music a bit - although it can sound sublime, it's easy to get lost in your own world a bit and phase it out. If you do do it though, make sure you don't do too much man, k-holing at a music event probably wouldn't be the best exp every.

I candyflipped for Shpongle in LA(3 decent tabs, 180mgs mdma) and I had a blast! I'm not that into K so I can't comment on that but you will have a great time even if you are sober.

i had finals the next day so i spent that night studying. i'll have to keep what you said in mind for future reference in case they ever come play in my area again even if its a dj set instead of a live show.
 
Just letting everyone know how it went.

took a hit of cit at 8:50, and another at 11 along with 100mg of mdma. was bumping k all throughout the night. Very little bumps too. did not dull the music at all, infact it gave it an otherworldly sound. deffinatly can say it was one of the best nights of my love and deffinatly one of the best shpongle shows ive been to. thanks for all your help bluelight!
