Id like to say something to anyone coming down on any substances (particullarly uppers) that alot of other BL's never seem to say, due to whatever circumstances, but I find that alcohol is one of the best cures for a comedown on anything.
Many, many people do not have access to benzos or opiates, which are admittingly better for comedowns, but again alot of people do not have access and if your feeling miserable I honestly advise to dip into the bottle and drink up (after getting some food and sleep of course...)
I can tell you countless amounts of stories where alcohol has helped me with comedowns; whether it be coming back from raves doing lots of mdma/lsd, feeling miserable because you have been up all night dancing and the mdma comedown is terrible (and lsd comedown is somewhat bad), and cant tell you how many times me and some friends have dipped into a bottle and had an absolute amazing expierience, and completely forgetting the comedown. This sometimes results in passing out, and actually getting sleep as well (although it wont be the best sleep, im aware of that), and I just advise most people out there who are suffering from a comedown, and can get access to alcohol, drink up! It may be a giant helper, as someone who has expierienced horrible comedowns before.
As a side note: im currently coming down off 60mg adderall, which really isnt the biggest dose in the world (ive done much more) but to alot of people it would be, and ive dipped into some vodka, and feel great. I actually have some xanax available, about 3mgs, but the alcohol has helped me feel energized (along with some green tea) and im ready to go out with my friends and have a great time.
A couple hours ago I was feeling the usual addy comedown, the depressed and not so happy attitude, but alcohol has completely taken that away, energized me, and has saved me enough for a good night. Its saved me PLENTY of times.
Just thought id throw it out there....i never see anyone suggesting alcohol to people who are suffering with terrible comedowns, and I dont know why. while I do understan health reasons, keep in mind your suggesting benzos and opiates, which are both ADDICTING.
Just a thought
