Alcohol is a drug.

definitely... effects your CNS pretty hard, has pretty strong noticable effects.

i even got closed eye visuals like cool abstract art paintings when i first started drinking as a teen before taking any psychedelics. just slowing down my breathing had some pretty cool results... i'd get the spins and just crash on my friends reclining chair and close my eyes with all the colors chilling to music. music sounded great.... as time went on, i didn't get as good results from alcohol.

Well, duh.

Ethanol influences your mood and perception, ergo it is a psychoactive substance. We just collectively don't call it what it is because it's a) legal and b) socially acceptable.
"Did Amy Winehouse die of alcohol poisoning or a drug overdose?" The correct answer is those are identical.

It a Deliriant hallucinogen It well known when Native americans were given stuff like Vodka saw as that. I still view many deliriant reports from 1200 ~ 1920 Europe was people getting wasted on Vodka or Wine, As anticholinergic side effects body wise aren't brought up.

It fits in the GABA deliriant class which Is like If DPH was euphoric with a Disso/MDMA body load instead of psychotic rotting.
