Alcohol + gabapentin + etizolam is it safe?

Im quitting my 9 month 30 gram a day addiction to kratom today is day 1 i took my last dose this morning at 9 am its now 7pm i just got off work and washed down a 1.2 mg etizolam with a glass of wine i plan on drinking until i go to bed is it safe to take 1 or 2 300 mg gabapentins before bed?

no, its not safe. anytime you mix a benzo (which is the Etizolam in situation) w/ alcohol you are asking for trouble.

I am surprised no one else jumped at this.

the benzos and gaba are something I take regularly myself, but why do you need the gaba at this point? you are already taking a benzo? I use it for an anti-seizure drug, but not just to get "high". who knows, maybe you are using it as a pain killer or another reason, but if not needed, dont take, if you do, then by all means, go ahead and mix those 2 drugs.

I would surely leave the alcohol out if you could; 1 glass of wine after work would be OK but even that would put you in a bit more of sedation becuase of the benzo you have taken; benzos and alcohol are one of the worst mixes there are and are 2 of the worst withdrawals you could possibly imagine, so please be careful.

It's a really bad idea to mix downers. If you absolutely have to, just don't compulsively redose because you can black out very very easily, which may sound like a good thing but trust me, it can make your situation a lot worse. Even worse, you could die of respiratory depression if you end up blacking out and taking more while not in a proper state of mind.

Thanks for the replys you guys i very much enjoy drinking on benzos, know my limits and what my body can handle i was just most asking if it would be safe to take some gabapentin too i ended up not taking it i didnt need to the sedation was heavy as is

the gabapentin is the least to worry about w/ what you said; its the drinking and benzo, which you happen to do most often, and seem to love, is what you really should be worried about.

how long have you been doing it? how much do you drink? 1 glass or a whole bottle? at what time does it start? and how many benzos do you take throughout the day? or are they only at night? what type of benzo? and is it only wine? same goes for gaba; is it only for bed? how many MGs?

all that right there means a lot.

I usually take 1 1.2 mg etizolam after work before i start to drink amd then drink about half as much as i normally would without the etiz when i take klonopin and drink (havent done in a while) i usually take 2 mg and drink about half as much unless ive been eatin them all day i will only take like 2 or 3 shots and be fucked up where i wanna be

And i was gonna take 600 mg gaba before bed last night but ended up not needing too

so you take a benzo just because you enjoy the feeling? just to get high? you drink half a wine bottle w/ a benzo and a whole bottle w/o? I assume you have a different feel? whats the difference if you dont mind me asking? all I can picture is a nice long sleep; esp. w/ the gaba on top.

many take gaba to sleep but yet I take 1800MG every morning once I wake; I think it helps throughout the day and also makes me feel great; I have not had one seizure since taking the gaba.
