Alcohol Alcohol and opiates how dangerous is this combo?

I have a very high codeine tolerance but prob gonna be drinking some wine tonight(i hate beer) just wondering if i took my usual dose(500mg-1000mg) would it be dangerous to have a few glasses of wine i am a lightweight when it comes to alcohol is their anything I should look out for in terms of symptoms i think i will be alright and might get a nice buzz going but just wanted to ask mainly

If your tolerant to that dose of codeine and plan on not going overboard with the glasses of wine, you should be fine.

Just remember that of you didn't have the tolerance to the opiates as you do, this could be dangerous as far a respitory depression.

Just don't over do it and be safe and you should succeed in obtaining a nice buzz.
