Adrenochrome - Health risks and injestion Techniques

Hi.

I've done quite a bit of research on adrenochrome but there are still questions I have that are unanswered.

Im not asking about the high and/or psychadelic effects of adrenochrome. I understand that the effects classification of adreno is disputed and I dont expect to find out the true effects from the responces in this thread.

My main question is if some one had some adrenochrome in powdered form what would be the best method of injestion? My best guesses are oraly first (after creating an aquious solution) then possibly smoked. One (of the whole two) trip reports on erowid mentions smoking adrenochrome. Injection would be the last on my list of ways to consume adreno.

What would be the safest and yet most effective form of injestion of adreno?

Adrenochrome is known to stop bleeding. With that said, what would be a safe dose of relativly pure (98%+ pure) adreno be? Also what would be the side effects of too much adrenochrome? Could they possibly be strokes and anurisms and brain bubbles as mentioned in fear and loathing? Or possible heart failure of some kind?

Are there even answers to these questions?
 
Bro research chemical does not even begin to describe the waters you are treading in. If it really was a bad ass high don't you think there would be more information about it especially considering the media exposure it has gotten from film? Is it worth risking your life?
 
H. Osmond documented two experiments with IMed adrenochrome and whatever he injected was psychoactive. However, his response has never been replicated to my knowledge and many suggest he actually was working with adrenolutin instead. Both are indolic degradation products of adrenalin. But yeah, IMing is the way to go. It will not be orally active.

Just to set the record streight, I dont think hunter ever said anything about adrenochrome other than a slight mention in F&LILV (the book). He never claimed to trip on adrenochrome.

Terry Gilliams portrail of an adrenochrome trip was the work of his own imagination. Hunter had almost nothing to do with the film other than writing the book. I could be mistaken - I have read the book several times and I remember him talking about the drug, but never taking it. Some one correct me if Im wrong.

Where can I read this adrenochrome trip that Humphry Osmond did? What was the dosage..

From the book Adam Gottlieb's Legal Highs (1973):
ADRENOCHROME SEMICARBAZONE -- 3-hydroxy-1-methyl-5,6-indolinedione semicarbazone.
Material: Oxidized epinephrine (adrenaline) with semicarbazide.
Usage: 100 mg is thoroughly dissolved in just enough alcohol, melted fat (butter), or vegetable oil and ingested. Because of its poor solubility in water these must be used to aid absorption.
Effects: Physical stimulating, feeling of well-being, slight reduction of thought processes.
Contraindications: None noted.
Acts as a systemic hemostatic preventing capillary bleeding during injury. Adrenochrome causes chemically induced schizophrenia. Its semicarbazone does not.

100mg taken oraly with alcohol and butter? Thats the ONLY dosage Ive ever seen for adrenochome. Any more input is highly valued.

LOL yeah that book looks like SHIT! but its the only place I've seen dosage info on adreno

I have the Osmond adrenochrome trip report from "Drugs and The Mind" and I have scanned them. They are huge files...if someone wants to lend space on their website, and wants to IM me through yahoo (morninggloryseed), I'll send them and you can upload them.
 
slightly offtopic Q... what's the difference between epinephrine and Racepinephrine. If epinephrine is L-adrenalin how can it be racemic unless it's just a form of differently balanced isomers of adrenalin
 
I have read the PDF and it is pretty cool. It discribes the effects of adrenochrome better than any trip report Ive read.

However, it does not say the dosage used.

Does anyone have an educated guess at the dosage of adrenochrome administered intermuscularily?

If I can't find dosage info on adrenochrome, then perhaps some one can point me in the right direction?

^ just curious, but why are you so eager to know the dosage? do you have "some" in your posession and want to dose it or something?
 
No, I just want to know the dosage just incase I ever do get any.

I dont want lectures on how stupid I am, I just want information. Thanks.
 
Adrenochrome is an URBAN MYTH.
It will NOT get you high.

Your time would be better spent nursing a bottle of DXM cough syrup.
 
^ i never said you were stupid. the reason I quoted some is because adrenochrome's existence as a hallucinogenic drug is questionable.
