Okay, whats the deal with these?

I dont have ADD or ADHD.. but man these little wonder pills help me get through college sometime. I dont abuse them, I take about 5 for midterms total and once finals hit soon, i have 7 left.

I only have taken them, to ensure that a job gets done (studying, cleaning, working, staying awake for long cross country drives).

I got into an argument with a fellow teammate today. He is the one who gave me these. Now, he has ADD. He took 1 a day for probably 2-3 years. He looks like shit. His face is splotchy (also he took accutane, which is probably the leading cause for his skin craters), but still i know aderrall has a negative effect.

But what is the negative effect?

Lack of sleep, Lack of appetite, Stomach discomfort??

Theres gotta be something worse going on here.

Enlighten me!

If you do that for three years you'll have negative effects.

This has been discussed many many times. Using amphetamines for a long period of time will cause negative side effects, there isn't really a way around it...
 
If I take these, it's never for a period longer than 2-3 days. After that, the lack of sleep will literally drive you to hallucinations. You need to have a large tolerance already established through dose increases over time in order to take these with minimal side effects.
 
^ Partially true/partially false. The effects one would notice (someone like myself), or 'negative side effects/minimal side effects' are still there, and experienced by the user. They are just a lot more serious (potentially), and internalized at a greater scale. The user may not know they are going on, but they certainly are (going on) -- like the destruction of your inner body (on top of the notable -- with ease -- of the outer body).
