Benzos addicted to XANAX/VALIUM 25-40mg/day (xanax)

i use 25-40mg xanax a day
xanax, rivotril, diazepam, triazolam, midazolam, nitrazepam, bromazepam, lorazepam, temazepam
and all that shit
from the moment i wake up till i go down for the night (thats about 1.5-2hrs, thats how i sleep) it all comes down to 25-40mg a day of various benzos that come down to 40mg of xanax a day. cause 30mg of temazepam is 0.5mg xanax not 30mg in a 40mg day.
are there any long term bad effects to benzo abuse?
i dont abuse any other things
i get methadone 120ml a day for <no price discussion> (not in U.S.)
im also thinking of getting adderall 20mg and dexamphetamine 10mg

what do youse guys think about all this?

i hope this is not a TOO meaningless thread.
i mean the question is: am i doing myself harm or is it ok since ive been on 15-20mg/xanax (that time it was strictly upjohn90 xanax) for about 9-10 months, then went to diazepam 10mg then 5mg and then quit.
didnt use any benzos for a few months when i decided that it was not worth it and began using them when i wanted to. now that im in it, i just keep downing them and not even getting slightly noddy or sleepy on them unless i smoke some fentanyl.

if you want to quit, do a taper. get a long-acting benzo like diazepam or chlordiazepoxide and well... taper.
i cannot fucking believe how often i've posted this shit. ah the futility of it all.
 
but what is bad about benzodiazepines for our body?
and yes, i take 120ml methadone per day, havent died yet, havent even had anything close to a nod or an OD.
so, the bigger question is - if it makes me feel good and nobody knows any different - can i keep using 30-40mg benzos a day? sometimes its mostly xanax or valium. other days its lots of hypnotics and then 200mg of valium or something.
i always wake up an our later. got a diary and everything so if i do die, they know what kind of a dose DID kill me.

Dude benzos are horrible for you taken daily, and they stay in your body a lot longer than a few days. Even though the half life of xanax is short the chemical doesn't completely break down when the half life is gone , there are still residuals and things that can stay in your fat. Anyways the reason they are bad is because your liver has a hell of a time breaking all those chemicals down. And as far as your brain generally benzos will just make you dumber, that's fact. They will cause you to have clouded emotions, cognitive problems, memory problems, the list goes on. Not to mention if you ever want to get off them your brain will be firing neural signals at a dangerous level which is toxic and can cause seizures. I don't know if you are fucking around with us but if your seriously taking that many benzos with methadone a day god have mercy on you, i have no idea how long it will take you to taper off.
 
benzodiazepines really aren't that hard on your body. it's that you're taking ridiculous amounts of alprazolam, and i can understand it, because i've been there, but benzo addiction is a pure nightmare and the longer you take them the worse it gets.

Long term benzo abuse can damage your cognitive abilities (memory, intelligence, reaction time, etc.). Taking the doses you describe is abusing the drug. I would work toward making an acceptable medical dose (4mg or less) work for you.

You are already taking two powerful CNS depressants (methadone + benzos). You are asking about adding two additional drugs into this mix. You describe very poor sleep hygiene (benzos are likely making it worse and adderall won't help). The situation you describe is dangerous and not sustainable.

Yes. Lots of benzos can cause harm to the CNS, addiction, and withdrawal. Mixing benzos (espectially high doses) with other depressants is risking death.
 
you must have read of people here on Bluelight that can Never get off benzos after abusing them for a reasonable length of time?

Why are you just toying with the idea of adding even more drugs into the mix too!

Heed the advice given here. You think you're invincible because you don't see the long-term effects. Try going off these especially since you're on methadone but you should taper slowly. You mentioned that you're keeping a journal in case something (like dying) happens. You must have some idea that taking these drugs in such large amounts will eventually kill you. Where do you get all these drugs anyway. I mean, do you doctor shop, buy them online? Just because you were able to stop before, don't kid yourself. Get some help quitting all this mess if you can't do it on your own.
 
My friend just died from mixing klonopin and methadone. He had a huge benzo tolerance too. He died 2 days ago. Please don't mix that obscene amount of benzos (especially xanax) with that much methadone. You're just eventually not going to wake up.
 
^Seriously, I've told the OP the same thing.

At least he's apparently not still shooting 3-methylfentanyl too. That was a relief despite this massive abuse of benzodiazepines.
 
25-40mg Alprazolam daily huh?

If that is truly the case, you're best bet would be to log off your computer and immediately start shopping for a detox/calling a hospital to handle your benzo w/d's. The best thing you could do for yourself right now would be to go to a safe, humane treatment facility where they will slowly detox you with some nice Librium WHILE giving you your methadone.

Around where I live, if you get arrested with a benzo/methadone habit, they'll toss you in jail and wait to see what happens. If you start having a gran mal seizure on the floor of the drunk tank their hand will be legally forced into providing you with medical care, but that's it. Do yourself a favor and work out this problem on your own time and free will.
 
no, i have never read about people on Bluelight being on benzos and NEVER planning to get off of them.
i'd like to meet them, seem like interesting people.
i plan on taking benzos and methadone for the rest of my life, too.
it makes my day more sunny, makes me more productive, more nice to each others, the list can go on.

it just that <snip> i go crazy and eat crazy amounts about 2-3 wks.
then its back to 5-10mg xanax/day 100mg valium/day.

i have never tried adderall or dexamphetamine. i have tried ritalin 10mg.
i was just gonna buy these adderall 20 and dexamphetamine 10mg tabs to see how they like, can someone tell me if they are snortable?or is it like one brand is and one brand isnt? if so, i can get You close up pictures of the addy and dex tabs.

im a previous opiate addict, 3-methylfentanyl, smoking it, no IV. i know its a strange name and shit (junkies over here call it 'fent' cause thats what it is, a form of fentanyl),
its only available where i'm from. basically a very strong rush and a very quick high. even stronger and quicker when you're IV'ing so thats why i IV only 1 out of 10 times. other times i smoke it on tinfoil. high lasts longer, and the good feeling also. i dont need that rush which makes you run around like a crazy cocaine/amphetamine addict. anyway, now i get 120ml methadone a day for it and dont IV/smoke it no more. i could get methadone or i could get 8mg subutex tabs.
i chose methadone cause when i take some benzos i can get loaded.
the poor ones who want to sell their 8mg subutex tabs take these and they get 7 tabs per week.
like youre supposed to take 8mg of subutex a week, a little nuts, right? 2mg is plenty...
but anyway, thats how they make their money and it aint no business of mine as long as i get my juice. i pay 0$/year for my 120ml/methadone per day, go get 3 times a week. thats cause i fucked up a urine test. was positive for fentanyl. i used to be able to go 2 times. monday and friday.
now its monday, wednesday, friday. from 8am-6am monday-friday.

hmm like crack, i think, only that i have never in my life that tried crack (dont got it where i live) although ive tried cocaine and regular amphetamines (no meth here either, yet).


and to the last poster, how can You're police/ambulance be so cruel? if you're a junkie on the streets in my country or countries next to me they just let us be, sometimes they tell us where the needle exchange is if we dont know and they do, they are really pretty nice. ambulance workers give us all shots of narcan (well, the IV'ing ones) and teach them how to use it on one another.

about the other thing; its not like ive been taking 40mg xanax daily for a YEAR. its been 2-3 wks so far. usually im 5-10mg xanax, 100mg diazepam, 120ml methadone. happy and easy, thats how we do it.

These amounts are ridiculously high. Even 10mg of Alprazolam/100mg Diazepam per day is a very large dose. Do yourself a favor and taper down to the minimum amount with which you are able to function during the day and sleep at night. I cannot imagine anyone taking so much benzos and still being able to write, talk, (live) properly.
