Adderall xr (extended release)

someone correct me if i'm wrong but 20 XR would be 10mg IR at once then 10mg spread out over the course of a few hours
taking 4 x 20 XR would mean 40mg IR then an extra 40mg later totaling 80mg sure you can handle that ??
if i am right that would mean you would be getting double the dose of what are you trying to achieve within a 24 hr period

I agree with deos68 and say I don't think you know what your getting into.
If you want 40 at once, crush and powder up those beads in one cap and start from there.
You can always take more later.

I don't know what your tolerance is, but go for it. Two 20mg XR pills sounds good. Just have something to bring you down if needed and dose earlier in the day. Have fun.
I was thinking the same exact thing. The only thing that's ever helped me in situations of really bad over-stimulation is benzos.

The food and Gatorade is still good to consume while your on your buzz. The only real thing( like deos68 said) is a benzodiazepine to cushion your comedown. I will keep this simple. If you want to know more, there are threads on this. Happy speeding.

To get 40 mg at once from 30 mg ER, I think taking four at the same time would be your best bet, assuming you want to swallow them whole. ER Adderall releases half of the total dose immediately (hitting about an hour after dosing, for me) and the other half about four hours later. Right? That's what I've always read, anyway. So if you take four 20 mgs at once, you'll get 40 mg about an hour later and another 40 mg about three hours after that, but the second 40 mg will be slightly weaker than usual, at least based on my experience, due to the lingering effects of the first 40 mg. When I've taken too many ER Adderall in the past, though, that four-hour bump has caused a lot of paranoia and negative side effects, especially uncomfortable cardiac ones, so be careful. Drink lots of water and be prepared to calm yourself down if need be.
If I were you, I'd crush the four 20 mg pills and parachute half of the powder after some Tums. Save the other half. This way, you get two 40 mg-level hits out of hour pills. If you take them whole all at once, you risk losing a good portion of the second 40 mg in the immediate comedown of your first hit. Whereas if you crush them and wait a few days between the two parachutes, you'll get two solid highs instead of one good high and one shitty shadow high. That's what I'd do, anyway. 40 mg is enough to fuck me up for several hours, but maybe I'm just a lightweight...

XRs are more pricey, but frankly if you're using these recreationally, IRs are a better bet.
As others here have said 80mg is not a small dose unless you are super amphetamine tolerant. Remember that adderall stays in your system for quite a while. Most scripts don't recommend you take any past noon, and honestly my friend still feels the effects well into the evening (extra focus & productivity, mild lingering headache, increased heartrate) and my friend typically takes no more than 10-20mg in a day.
Be careful, don't go chasing a high, especially with XRs, it's an addictive and relatively expensive substance, and abuse might have all kinds of unforseen impacts in the near future.

guess i was right in a sense the op will consume 80mgs of adderall within a 24 hr period which is quite a bit especially if you dont have some type of tolerance or exp with XR

I've taken 30 to 40 mg ir at a time and got a really strong buzz off of it, and was completely fine. But one day I was too lazy to crush my xr and didn't have any ir left and took 3 xr (which I had never taken more then one xr) and the effects for me were negative. Cold sweaty hands, relentless mouth ticks for 20+ hours, ridiculous heart rate, ect. I have an average tolerance and don't under stand how just cause it was xr it effected me like that. I'd be careful or just crush it up.
