Might seem like a weird question, but I was wondering why Adderall is marked as a Schedule II substance while drugs like Benzos are marked as Schedule IV.
I've never tried Benzos (only Adderall, but not in recreational doses), but it seems like they are a lot more addicting and the effects a lot more "strong" (potential to fall asleep quickly/pass out, etc.)
The government does have a lot of pretty biased/skewed decisions, so this could be another one. But, at least from my observations, Benzos seem to be a lot more worthy of higher scheduling over drugs like Adderall.
