Forgive me if this is already posted. I searched prior to posting and couldn't come up with much other than a couple of experiences with some other pharms thrown into the mix.
Scenario:
Between 9am and 4pm I have taken about 65 mg of Adderall (4.5 x 15mg IR, and by no means the largest amount I've taken in one day). Around 7:00 PM (EST) I took an old promethazine prescription I had, 1 x 25mg tablet. I was just curious if this is considered a no-no? I've only taken promethazine in the past for nausea, which I currently am not, but I remember it having a mild (emphasis on mild) sedation effect that I thought may help with the Adderall come-down and to inspire sleep. I have no negative symptoms at the moment, just a rapid heart beat which I have always had (at least noticed) since I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2001. My resting heart rate is often in the high 80s/low 90s while not taking anything, and of course, Adderall doesn't help it, but I've never had any problems that I felt needed medical assistance.
Also curious if, in your opinion, it would be safe to take another 1 x 25 mg's (promethazine) about an hour before I plan to go to bed. I read a post saying too much promethazine is bad, but wasn't sure of the doses. I remember, years ago, I took 2 promethazine at a time for nausea after coming back from an oxycodone break, and don't remember anything odd. This is just the first time I've taken it on adderall, and I know if I shouldn't have then it's too late lol, but figured I'd ask in case I need to counter it. Also, when I took the promethazine, it was a good 2½-3 hours after the last Adderall (which I'm not sure why I even took the last 15mg because it didn't do anything), it was never WITH the Adderall.

History:
- I've taken amphetamines (Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta, Focalin[probably only once]) for years, but only for about 2-3 week time frames, every 4-5 months.
- I have a high tolerance to opiates. I know promethazine isn't one, just throwing it out there.
- I am a type 1 diabetic, on insulin (no other prescriptions).
- No food today. Just fluids to keep sugars at normal levels, multi-vitamin, and an omega-3 supplement.
