Stimulants Adderall IR day 1 and day 3, or XR (same amount) on day 3?

So, for studying, and with the intention to either maximize productivity or minimize negative psychological effects or find a balance. Would it be better to take IR (10mg) today, and 10mg sunday, or 20mg xr sunday? I was thinking IR today and sunday would be best, but I'm not sure. I'm otherwise well-rested, have stuff for the come-downs etc.. Will be doing work the entire time.

Edit: i will be using modafinil on day 2, but not today (I don't want to stay up all night) for additional work productivity.
 
I would say 20mg XR today, 20mg IR tomorrow.

I hypothesize that XR does not mess with your tolerance as much.
 
Took your advice (though I plan on taking the IR tomorrow, took the XR yesterday), thanks!
