Adderall and LSD

My friend and I are dropping some acid today for the first time (we did a mild dose of shrooms about a year ago, and I had a couple run-ins with foxy methoxy in my E which got me a little trippy a couple months back). But I've recently come into possession of 5mg Adderall XR, I've got 6 left still (30mg of dextro-amp total). I was wondering how ~5-10mg of Adderal XR (1-2 pills) would affect the trip. I was kind of hoping that the speed would help me get more excited about everything -- which is why I like amps in the first place but with a tryptamine it sounds like I'd just fall in love with everything I did. I'm a little nervous about it though because I thought maybe the adverse effects of the speed would create some negative effects (paranoia, increased body temp, increased heart rate) with my mindset for the trip. I've had a couple of paranoid delusions/hallucinations on weed and synthetic-canniods before plus sober I can be shy (which is why I like amps, I get much more extroverted) so would the stimulant be more likely to catalyze bad thoughts (lead to possible bad trip?)?

Also, I took a dose of 3 pills (15mg) yesterday and got me going decently speedy all day plus I had a lot of experience with Vyvanse in the Spring. Would my tolerance just waste the pills at the low dose? And would the Adderall not mix well with the acid?

Save the pills for another time.

There doesn't seem much to gain from taking speed with LSD. I don't think it would synergize well. The LSD mindstate is dreamy and sped up in it's own way. No need for more speed :) And who knows how the added focus of adderall might affect your trip. I find that weed always tends to make me instantly turn more introverted whenever i'm tripping, so I save that for solo experiences.

My advice is to take only the LSD. Maybe smoke a little on the come down. But definitely watch how much you smoke and how it affects your trip. People tend to overlook this.

I find that weed + speed is very nice and a lot less stoning. It's like a mini trip where I can still do stuff and be active.

When we did shrooms none of us had any real visuals until blunts started getting passed. I was really surprised how much it affected it. But sadly, this time we spent all our money on acid and none on weed.

Just did that yesterday actually! Extremely euphoric but yeah it's great how clear headed it was.

But you're probably right about that Adderall, that makes sense, thanks!
 
Yeah weed will definitely kick the trip into high gear with visuals. It synergizes very well with psychedelics but just try and be aware of how it affects you and the nature of your trip. Like I said, for me I would rather take only LSD if i'm out doing something with my friends. Smoking always makes the trip more introverted in my opinion.

I would probably feel more comfortable shopping in a store on a low dose of LSD than after smoking a fat blunt.
 
In my experience in treatment for ADHD, daily amps will make me a little paranoid/irritable, but I am able to use weed to take the edge off. For a trip, I wouldn't recommend taking it right away. LSD lasts a long time. I like taking amps once LSD has peaked & I notice my dreams getting a little less clear, 3 hour mark at the earliest, but 4-6 hours after effects of your dose begin is a better plan. My favorite for use with LSD is Concerta, actually. It has been a long time since I have used Adderall with LSD so I can't say much about it. I am not very impressed euphoric effect of prescription amps BUT combined with LSD the initial rush of the amp is really nice! Euphoric effects of amps (and weed, for that matter) are enhanced up to 2-3 days after the trip.
 
LSD isn't a tryptamine, although maybe I read the 1st post wrong...

anyways I would leave out the amps, LSD is quite stimulating on it's own.
