Adderall - 1st time - Numb.

12.16.03[My birthday...hooray, it was my b-day present to myself lol]
I was at school when i went over to my friends group, and a new kid ahd joined us. He was fumbling with a 20mg Adderall telling me he hates his medicine for ADD and that i could have it. Without hesitation i take the pill, go in the bathroom, remove the smaler capsule side, and downed the 20 mgs.
Literally 15 seconds later, i was feeling a mild buzz.
So i head off to class, and it hits me. I just sit there and stare at things, thoughts and time slowed down. My speech was slurreed slightly and attempted to not talk so no one would be suspicious. Damn, this was some fun stuff.
So this class ends, and its still fully coming on. I go to my new class, and my bodie feels like an extra 20 lbs or on me, and i'm tired and having a hard time paying attention to anything for more than 5 seconds. So i keep my head down and try not to talk much.
Go to lunch...all foods tastes bad, and all drinks taste awesome. I ate barely anything. i talked a lot..and lifted some weights, but i felt my heart-rate go up so i stopped.
Final period of the day. Wow, to say the least. So the whole period we talked and i managed to get 2/3 of a 3 paragraph paper done within about 5 minutes. Then, since we are studying heroism, we watched star wras. I slept for the entire thing. I awake, and it is pretty much gone.
All in all, the effects lasted from about 9:15-2:00. Good deal, especially for free.

Only problem is since then, my joints ache. Not painfully...but like last night my knees and elbows just felt dead tired like i had excerised all day. And i had trouble sleeping all night as well.

My question is is there more than this? The entire trip mad me feel numb, which i loved..but the day and a half[i woke up sick this morning and i felt like shit this afternoon] comedown wasn't that fun. Maybe more next time? My new-friend told me he will give me his medicine ever day...and sure enoguh he gave me one today.

EDIT: These comedown effects i'm not sure are entirely drug-related as my little brother has the flue and i might have it as well...just wnated to mkae note of them, incase anyone else had a similar experience

dude ya report definitely sounds like u took adderoll alright. i don't see many reports of experiences on this prescription drug.

However from my experience with this drug. you shouldn't have any comedown. except maybe a snap back to reality. whenever i take the drug especially at night time. i wake up in the morning prepared to run a marathon. i feel very revived.

i must admit tho 20 mg is a lot to first take. i usually take 10mg to help me study and i take it while i drink. once i took 35 mg which doesnt even faze some people and i was so whacked out people thought i was on coke.
 
how the hell can you guys take 1-30 mg and have a good time i got the things a few trimes and took 300mg teh first time and 800 as a all day thing the next time and the stuff isnt much fun im a opiet guy so i dunno i guess it is more fun for you speed freaks but who knows...
 
I take 20-30mg pills for school when I have tests and stuff and about all it does for me is make me wired for about 7 hours and help me stay -extremely- focused on whatever I'm doing. It sure is great for those days you have tests after a fun and sleepless weekend. :) However, I have to wait at least a week between pills otherwise I have to obviously up the dosage to get the same effect.
 
greenjam80: 300mg doses? DO you have a tolerance? Sounds like a bit too much for me. And I don't think there's anything wrong with starting low for a first time.. drugs work differently for everyone and some doses can floor people and not really effect other people. String low is always the best way to try a new drug, because you can re-dose but never un-dose!
 
ya thats true i dunno i just used to get told to eat allot and i end up eatig a whole script in a day and i dont liek it acually but if i were a speed freak i would i guess,
 
hm... i do adderal very rarely, cuz i hate the insomnia it gives you. but no matter how much i take, i still get that insomnia, to the same degree. so i won't do it unless i take at least 60 mgs.
 
I'm very curious to experiment on Adderall. I have snorted Ritalin which is smooth and nice. But I always feel that something is missing when I take R, so I usually take it with a little alcohol and/or coffee.

But it's so extremely difficult to get drugs where I live, so I would spend crazy sums of money to get more Ritalin and also some amps into my hands.
 
shit, adderral shouldn't be too hard to obtain, it seems like fuckin' 70 percent of little kids are on it nowadays... i've never been to a place where i couldn't find it.
~and only if their mothers knew their children were taking amphetamine...
 
Speedy drugs as prescribed medicines are extremely rare in this part of Europe where I live. The street stuff, tho not easy to find either, is meth over here.
 
when i "comedown" from adderall, i usually don't notice it unless with higher dosages > 40mgs, and the effects from that are just me feeling a little anxious, impatient, and somtimes pissed off...
but adderal and other amphetamines are so easy to find around here :) , i'm pretty sure just about all of my friends excluding a couple are prescribed. amphetamines are thrown around like candy i swear.<-- Speed Nation
 
Your 'comedown' was definitely from Adderall use. Next time drop a benzo just when the comedown hits you, my 3 fav benzos: Xanax,Valium,K-Pins. And of course GHB is even better for comedowns.
 
Adderall comedown

I havent experienced amphetamine withdrawls or comedowns, but let me say that cant be as bad as oxycontin withdrawls or even ghb withdrawls.
If you feel that your psychostimulant is wearing off, take another one, each should last at least 6 hrs, unless its an extended release. So if you took say adderall at 10am, then anothe around 5 pm, that should take you through the day. Then at night, take some sleep medication or benzos and fall asleep. Dont take amphetamines after lke 6 pm if you plan on going bed early. Unless youi have ambien or some xanax to fall alseep. Then you will be refreshed to wake up and start a new day, and take your next dose of amphetamine.
