addèrall for opiate w.d.

Friend us a long term chronic pain pt. Oxycontin 30 mg 3x a day , oxycodone 15 mg. 4x a day. Lyrica a 200 mg. 3x a day. Ambien at night. My question is this: she ran out of her pain meds. 6 days early (someone helped themselves) ...very miserable...can't get up barely move. Someone gave her 2 30mg. Adderall 1 for sat. 1 for sun ...mon goes to pain doc to get rx. Scripts. Sat took addèrall ,she feels about 75% better ...whew! ....but is worried random urine test will reveal addèrall and no opiates. ...is that very likely if drink lots of water to flush out....maybe eat a few poppy seed muffins? Very nervous now......what do you think?

If you're like most people, myself included, physically insulting substances like amphetamines should be avoided when you're in withdrawal. But if it works for you, wonderful. I knew a girl in 5-day detox who was the resident authority for what she eloquently dubbed "The Rock Cure", which, as you might've guessed, entailed smoking crack for a long-weekend while getting her kicks out. Why would someone go through this and not spend the oodles of crack money on a little dope? Obviously not due to a paradigm shift in favor of sobriety - see: "The Rock Cure" - so...

I believe anything that can take your mind off of the pain and monotony of withdrawal is going to seem welcomed, but I would end up much more strung-out than when I started.
