You may have heard of Assembly Bill 390 (A.B. 390) which will legalize and tax marijuana in CA for those 21+.

This is meant for you all to activate to spread awareness for this cause as well as help my organization lobby for YOU!

My name is Alex, and I am from Students for Sensible Drug Policy. (http://www.ssdp.org) My chapter at San Jose State as well as other chapters are running several campaigns to jump start this bill.

The bill that we are speaking of is Assembly Bill 390 (A.B. 390) introduced by Tom Ammiano.

To any cali bl'ers, what do you think the odds of this passing are?

IMO the state of the economy provides a great opportunity for this to possibly pass. And if it provides revenue for the state (and there isn't reefer madness backlash), it might possibly prompt other states consider legalization.

my mind would definately be blown if this passed and proved successful.

edit: hey mods, is there anyway to sticky this thread? possibly in a higher traffic area like CD?
